Good game yes, but not to the level of FF7 OG or Xenogears or Chrono trgger of Zelda. Its not the greatest game ever or best rpg ever. Its just bandwagon and excitement and underdog story and amazement for a small team and small budget. Put this game in another era like 90's or early 2000, and it will be just another RPG.

Despite what everyone has said this was a very weak year for game
A LOT of 8/10s. Very few bombs. But Expedition was basically the only 9/10 in my book

He has too much influence on the year as a whole . It feels like since E3 as a tradition ended he more or less grabbed the reigns with a bunch of backers and this is what we get.

I played plenty of games. I am English, we don't like the French. If I say it's my game of the year it means something.
The song just isn't that good. It's very bland. Also, i'd wager most of that performance was a backing track with her sometimes singing over it.
