Actually it looks like it has nothing going on for it besides the art styles, if there's nothing more to the gameplay it might get old very quickly.Lotan said:Comic Jumper looks like just the right amount of crazy.

It was painful watching them play.

that was freaken impressive!Mkliner said:

They were playing it like Qix. But in Cubixx, if you keep the line going across cube faces you get a multiplier. I got a chuckle out of them looking for online leaderboards in a mini title though :lolSpirit of Jazz said:When will we hear the last of you terrible elitist Cubixx players!

The Wings of Prey QL was pretty hilarious. The 3 make a good combo but they're not the best, that would be Ryan + Vinny.Minamu said:I can't believe people find that trio funny :S I've barely laughed at all in their videosI suppose the games they tend to show don't help either

Ruffian is a brand new studio that was given only an eight-month developmental cycle by MS, so it's understandable why they couldn't implement as many changes in Crackdown 2 compared to the original. Crackdown is one of my favorite games this gen, so it's disappointing that MS didn't allow the studio to have more time instead of just rushing it out to market.Totobeni said:meh , based on this QL , this is the definition of expansion pack sequels , it's just more of the same old with few new ideas , sequels need to evolve the "gameplay" , not just cash in with few extra things , and from ths QL look like it's Shooting focus instead of anything else this time brain dead-ish style like Prototype but this depend on the player tho , land ook like it's slower too for some reasons but I guess this is because it's just video ( and I know it's a demo ) .
and graphically this look worse than the 2007 game too , and has same animations (pretty lame really ) they even didn't fixed the floaty like running animations , for fuck sake Ruffian what the hell are you doing , it's the same engine as the first , so you have time to creat new animations you don't need to use all the old assets as the early 2007 game *smh*.
I am not going to buy this at full price , same with other expansion pack-like sequels ( New Vegas, Killzone 3..ect ) , devs should put more effort into their sequels , fix the flaws and add new ideas imo , and not like this imo.
I could not disagree with you more if you had claimed the Earth was square. I think, going off of what I've played of the demo, CD2 hits exactly the right notes to really endear itself to people who loved the first.Totobeni said:meh , based on this QL , this is the definition of expansion pack sequels , it's just more of the same old with few new ideas , sequels need to evolve the "gameplay" , not just cash in with few extra things , and from ths QL look like it's Shooting focus instead of anything else this time brain dead-ish style like Prototype but this depend on the player tho , land ook like it's slower too for some reasons but I guess this is because it's just video ( and I know it's a demo ) .

It may be the stream quality or it may be the 100+ hours of Just Cause 2 on the PC making me expect more from open world visuals, but to me this game looks dated and bland.Dizzy-4U said:
It´s a very crisp and flat game. Kind of a comic strip look, which I like. To be fair, graphics aren't the franchise's strongpoint. The original excelled at mayhem, pacing and platforming. It was refreshing to have a sandbox experience that wasn't weighed down by boring fluff and delivery missions. The world was packed full of fun things to do. It felt more like a playground than a sandbox.Ceebs said:It may be the stream quality or it may be the 100+ hours of Just Cause 2 on the PC making me expect more from open world visuals, but to me this game looks dated and bland.

Totobeni said:Crackdown was an early 2007 title , it was actually damn pretty back then ,but not anymore , and Sandbox standards evolved since then ( also other games did the "playground" concept it's not exclusive for this game ) and this use the same engine so they have years to upgrade the graphics ( and animations ) but they didn't do that , seriously there is no excuse for staying on the low standard from early of this generation , there is no excuse for lazy devs , what a shame.

you call this upgrade ? really ? and Crackdown 1 ( 2007 title ) look better here (sharper/not blurry , better texture ) than mid 2010 sequel , thanks for supporting my point I guess.
and it's not just the graphics , aside from the power ups , the devs did nothing for this sequel they lifted the animations ans other assets from the first game without changes , but well keep fighting for lazy sequels , all power to you , my standards in sequels are just higher than this.
