Jesus, this Gran Turismo 5 quicklook. The entire menu/interface system looks broken as fuck.
Right now the servers are flooded or something, so every menu action takes like 1 minute to complete unless you log out of PSN :lol

GT5 quick look still not up??

Is there a link on the net anywhere on the stream they did before?

Someone asked and was answered like, two posts ago. And the explanation of why it is isn't up is on the last page (the file was freakin huge and isn't encoded yet)

Jeff said on Twitter that the raw footage for GT 5 was in excess of 100GB (giant bombs) so will take longer than normal to process. Coupled with Thanksgiving, it might not be until next week until it's on the site proper.
So, proper version coming. But hey, it's the holiday!

Can a subscriber do me a favour? Could someone run one of their HD videos through this media info tool and tell me how the video is being encoded? Just open the .mp4 with the tool, go to View -> Text, and copy the video section. Would be much appreciated!

The six minute intro is just...wow. I know what they say about the best creatives needing editors but that's just insane.
"He's gonna get up and get in the car...and he's really Snoop Dogg."

And My Chem trying to be The Killers for a while there.

Damn it, they're still broken. Thanks!

Well, that was the Quick Look for Super Meat Boy, since it's the only one I had handy. Maybe it's been updated more recently. I'll download today's Game Room.

Thanks a lot for the update. Unfortunately it's the same thing (too many reference frames). At this point it doesn't seem like this will ever get fixed :(

The game has some of the WORST music I've heard. The intro music didn't suit it at all I felt. Car music should be cool and sleek, like the cars. Not bloody stock jazz and lift music.
So you're saying Jazz isn't cool and sleek? To each is own I guess.

Bleh...they should edit that shit down. 1 and a half hours? That's practically a feature length film.

they're trying to give you an impression of how the game is, bad and good. 50% of the video is loading. GT5, not so hot.

Well, GB doesn't know their MJ. :) They didn't "get" the silver dollar in Billy Jean. They said there wasn't a video for Don't Stop Until You Get Enough. The video has the same lame backgrounds that they didn't like in the game (and yes he does those moves in the video, which they also weren't sure of). It was his first music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yURRmWtbTbo

But yeah, I'd rather have some of his music and moves in Dance Central at this point, which seems unlikely. I hope the Kinect game is better.

I think the music is quite nice but the UI is fucking awful. One of the worst of the generation. I remember Prologue having a nice UI too. Shame.

Yes? I dunno. As far as I ever heard it was never technically called Gex 2. It was always "Gex: Enter the Gecko", which I thought was its name universally across all platforms.

Seems we're all discovering something new.

I never realized that there were different voiced across different regions. Sounds wrong without Leslie Philips doing the voice...

That GT5 QL was a perfect storm of problems: no install, server-side issues, and the poor UI layout made everything feel significantly slower and than it otherwise is. It was enough for me to question picking it up at all but thankfully my experience hasn't been as bad as GB's.

I think it was called Gex 64 on the N64 according to Wikipedia. Also I was really surprised at the fact that this game sold 15 million copies, wonder why they never made a Gex 4.
