Yeah, Firefox won't play them for me either, even after NoScript allows everything on that page and Adblock has the page as an exception. Facebook is allowed, even. It's not a huge deal since IE works, it's just kind of shitty needing to have two browsers running.

Edit: The streaming option just reset the video when I was halfway through an endurance run. I'm no fan of this new video player, no sir.

I am running Firefox 3.5.8 on mac, and it works after I disabled AdBlock. The problem I am having is when go full screen, it stretches the 16:9 video to 4:3 format. Fix that!

I noticed when in Progressive mode, it seems buffering the video more often. I guess it's good if you have a small pipe. The good thing for me is I can download the FLV in the progressive mode, which I can playback later with VLC.
 
Well this is weird .. seems the videos all stretch to full screen now on my 4 : 3 monitor, even the one's that are natively supposed to be letterboxed. All the videos are now stretching and looking pretty bad in full screen now.

I'm bummed out that the new player doesn't work anymore in the PS3 browser. I freaking loved to check the QL's out on the tv.

Yeah, I just found this out too. My PS3s homepage was the Quick Look page :(
 
Now I'm having trouble watching some videos. I don't know what's going on, some work fine, but others just give me a black screen when I click the play icon. This is with firefox, everything works in IE.

I remember seeing the craziness of this game, played by Ryan, on On The Spot when the 360 was first launching. Always wanted to play it if only for the cutscenes but I guess the QL covers that now.

There's a whole lot more. Every character gets their own cutscenes and each set of them are in a different style. If you like the wackiness of the game, it's worth it to play it... even if some of the later challenges are a pain in the ass to do. :lol
 
If you're on a Mac and using Glimmerblocker then you're going to have to disable it to get the new player to work. Creating exceptions might also work but personally I just turned the whole damn thing off.

Yeah, the game is actually a pretty good snowboarding game. It is probably the closest thing we have gotten to an SSX sequel since SSX 3 came out.

Yeah, I just ordered Stoked 1.5... I'm hoping it's as good, even if it won't have any of the humour of Amped 3.
 
I played the hell out of the Amped 3 demo, but never actually considered getting the full game. Regretting that a bit, now.

It didn't work in Firefox for me. Then I DL'd Chrome ('cause I was thinking of switching before) and it works fine now.
 
Works fine on FF for me.

Settings: Progressive, High
OS: Mac OS X Snow Leopard
Browser: FF 3.6
ABP: Inactive for giantbomb.com

Edit: Correction - stopped buffering. Hm. I'll check out Streaming, I guess.
Edit: Better now.
 
finally got the new player to work with Firefox. had to completely disable adblock and then videos started to play...
 
How do I get the new player to work? :(

I can change quality settings.. click play.. and then.. nothing :(

No Adblock or anything because I had to remove that.

EDIT: Firefox 3.6 btw

EDIT2: Nevermind, it's working now.
 
The new player is annoying, it takes several seconds for it to register that I've clicked Play and then it stutters as the video begins playing. Is this an HTML5 player or some crap?

I paid 3 bucks for the iPhone app, I'd be willing to pay something else to support them if I could enjoy their content without ads and without crappy players

Edit: Welp, back to using Remove it Permanently with AdBlock disabled. I could have sworn at one point the guys said they didn't want to have ads that were all flashy and distracting but trying to watch a quick look with EL PRESIDENTE flashing at you every few seconds is pretty bogus. It really sucks when your favorite things get ruined

It's a Flash player, unfortunately.

It's getting hard to get a hold of it actually, which I guess isn't that surprising. I can't believe how old this game is. The inside of the cover tells you that NBA 2K6 is coming soon. I can't wait!
