not only that but the stuff that happens to him and he complains about are all legitimate.

where's the desire to purchase this game for guys like me when it's filled with guys like you who "r 2 serius"

He wasn't complaining about it.

This is why I don't play multiplayer games much... You can't really just mess around and have fun in them before someone calls you noob and other ingenious slurs.

I totally agree. The game needs some kind of ranking system implemented, so there are newb-friendly servers for people to get their feet wet, that then graduates them to moderate servers.

Hopefully the game will get enough sales to warrant it, but I don't think it initially ships with anything like that.
 
I liked him single-handedly capturing an undefended control point and then mocking the other team for leaving the point undefended... as he left it undefended and sped off to another point.

Kinda hard to pity the control complaints when they don't bother spending barely any time in the control config. But yea, it did look like Jeff was having issues with the default.
 
I'm pretty sure I enjoy Quick Looks way more when they're playing games that are either bad or totally ridiculous.

Them just playing a normal shooter or something is kind of boring. Even though their commentary is usually not bad either way.
 
Jeff and Ryan are hopeless when it comes to the Wii, reminds me of when they were playing Wii Sports Golf sitting down. Would it of killed them to spend more than 30 seconds playing around with the controls to find something they would prefer. Game looks boring anyway, The Grinder looks far more interesting.
 
This game controls extremely well if you spend a minute or so configuring the controls for your taste. They needed to shrink the bounding box here.

The level design does get a bit better as the game progresses, but they're obviously using shortcuts like repeating areas and mirroring them in spots to crank the game out as fast as they did (iirc, it was just the one demo level in early 2008).

I've played the game, and although there's a steep learning curve some people are downright deadly with the Wiimote. I've never played single player but I'm guessing that the game is stronger in multi. I didn't feel it was awful at all. It reminded me of a cross between Timesplitters and Perfect Dark.
 
Ron really does look like a caveman in that. And browsing older Quick Looks is making me want to buy Prototype. It looks pretty damn fun and insane.
 
Conduit looks pretty generic. Graphics are nice for Wii though. I wish more devs would make their games on Wii look that nice. I still just don't see myself wanting to play FPS or TPS games on Wii because of the lack of a second stick. I could see them struggling with the turning of the camera in the quick look, and I find that utterly frustrating in games.

It was alright, but it can't compare with the Noby Noby Boy quick look. That was one of the crowning achievements of western civilization.
