Hadn't looked over much Left 4 Dead 2 stuff until the quick look... I still don't see much of a drastic change to really make me want to buy another Left 4 Dead game so soon after the first one. I guess mostly just because I've played enough of the first one and I don't really have to urge to dive into it again. :/

Likely bite on it though once Valve does one of their fucking insane sales for it though.

Also, another thing that annoys me with it? No Francis.

Didn't think there was much restrained about it. He said he flat out hated the character designs, didn't think much of the combat, and pointed out how the story was just a pile of cliches.

Dave made the GOWIII quick look for me. Some great just off the wall comments.

Why do the skeletons have so much blood in them? they’re skeletons… where are they hiding it?

yeah, the mini boss battles in this game are so friggin’ gruesome. I shuddered at some of those brutal kills.

edit: and a really funny quicklook from the guys. one of their better ones.

Yeah, but he didn't just outright say the game was awful, and he tried to put forth fake enthusiasm of what was to come. My favourite part was near the end when he asked Vinny if he could call it a quick look, but Vinny wanted to press on.

You can mash and it'll get you results (kind of), but there's still a lot of depth... just not to the same degree of frame-counting depth as DMC.

And they complained about Normal being to easy I guess they didn't know you can change the difficulty during game play without starting over.
