I do not get the Brad hostility. He's easily my favorite Giant Bomber. By a long shot. I mean, I like them all, but Brad is just mellow, more average and balanced, and that's more like me. So I like Brad, he also tends to be into the type of game I'm more into (Uncharted 2, Infamous) so he's great for Giant Bomb. When you can't get Jeff or Ryan to even finish one of the best games of the year (Uncharted 2) and I wonder how they can even like games and not finish that game. It's crazy to me.
I have no problem with him either, but he's just plain factually incorrect more often than anybody else on the crew. When he's got time to prepare and check what he wrote he's not, but on the podcast and quick looks he often lets things slip that are just false. But whatever, these are both things that are done with no preparation. Maybe they should add a corrections and retractions segment to the bombcast :lol
He said the GoW Collection runs natively in 1080p, when it says, on the fucking box, that it's 720p. He also complained how NSMBWii had checkpoints, when, almost all previous 2D Mario games have had them too. He criticizes stuff that have been in previous games. The only kind of person who would make such complaints, is someone who hasn't played those games, or just haven't done their homework.
He is supposed to be a professional. Shit, he's getting paid to do editorials. He could at least get his facts straight and not be so amatuer as to complain about minor, insignificant things in games. To me, it shows it doesn't know what he's talking about and is just trying to find crap to critize, just to make himself look credible.

There's also a difference between playing a game while giving it your full attention and playing a game while also bearing in mind you should be talking about it/to the person next to you and try to be entertaining/interesting. I'm not saying Brad is amazing at all games or something but I'm sure not focusing purely on the game can lead to missing cues and fucking up.

Getting upset about comments of games reusing something only means you're overly sensitive to the subject matter. God of War 2 is really similar to the original in terms of gameplay. This is not a bad thing, but the "new" stuff like the flight and additional weapons only add a little to the formula.

You're acting like its a world news website or something. IGN, Gamespot, GameTrailers, 1up, ect get things wrong a LOT more than Giantbomb.
Sure they might say "PC is dead" or something dumb like that but I've never once seen the amateurish bullshit every single big site has pumped out. Show me where they've given a Soccer Manager 1 star because "It isn't Fifa" or 5 stars to a game they complain about constantly. Show me where they've made ridiculous fan boy rants or reviews that look like a troll on a forum. They haven't but other sites do.
I'm not saying it's ok to make mistakes or give wrong information but fucking hell some people take it so seriously and need to calm the fuck down. If you know GoW is only 720p why does it matter to you if they say 1080p? It doesn't.
Another option could be that they keep doing what they're doing, I keep enjoying their website, and ya'll just don't worry your pretty little head over ever last speck of information that they get oh so very wrong ;D
iTunes has a big ol' dedicated podcast feature. Open it up and click "podcasts" then search for Giant Bomb.
As for videos, you can get an app that will show all of their videos, but I don't think there's any way to download them and play them on your touch if you aren't connected to a wifi source.

Too bad my 360 is 3rled and I don't have MS support down here (because, you see, i imported my console. Only locally distributed consoles have support).

Diner Dash does look fun, but all I can think of is how the original devs of that game didn't secure any royalties to it...and the publisher ended up walking away with all the cashola, and the devs closed up shop a few months ago.

Way of the Samurai 3 has some of the most pointless wandering I've seen in a game. Jeff apparently played through the start of the game multiple times, and still wasn't aware there was any story quest to kick it off. That's some awesome game design, right there.
Though, you can kill your save point. So, that's pretty awesome.
the point of the WOTS games is that they're basically "choose your own adventure". There are many ways to begin one of several story quests that lead to many endings.
I saw that they did a quick look of it and was guessing it was going to be a disaster :lol. If you don't know how it works, it is harder to get into than normal games, and often times they have trouble with those.

That's actually what Jeff was saying. Ryan insisted that there had to be a mission and Jeff just wandered around killin' stuff and walking into invisible walls. He'd have none of that story nonsense.
edit: I wholeheartedly recommend watching the Serious Sam QL. Serious Sam is absurd and hilarious to begin with, the video only moreso.
