PS: Are the GB guys actually moving office or what? I read something about it on here, but I haven't heard it talked about since, and it's not been mentioned on the podcasts and clearly they're still in the same building. Was it just a little quip somebody made in a video that was presented as serious in this thread? -_-

People assumed based on a comment Jeff made. It would also make sense as the Tested guys don't really seem to have a office of their own. Presumably they will be moving at some point, whether it's anytime soon is another matter though.

I guess that does make sense when you consider the Tested guys. I've quickly become quite addicted to their site in the last two or three weeks... despite the fact I can't afford anything they talk about. :lol

Both Jeff and Will Smith both said that one of the upsides of changing offices will be "Real fucking internet", because as I understand, their internet is teh horribles.

Part of me thinks they should get Tested fully up and running before they add yet another site. Feels like they're really pushing it hard.

Not that I doubt they'll be successful.

Tons. It's an end game save, and they discuss their endings pretty openly. Though, Brad still doesn't seem to understand what spoilers are and he tries to argue that you won't get anything spoiled before Vinny sets it straight :lol


edit: This character doesn't even have dialogue options!? Yeah, completely worth $7. Fucking DLC. Just like Zaeed, she just talks at you in her room. Worthless.

It is worth $7 because Kasumi is really powerful, and the new Heavy SMG is great.

That doesn't sound at all worth 7$. A boring but strong character with a single mission and a gun for a game I've completed twice already. If she were a fully developed character, then I'd at least be open to an argument for it. Even if you haven't beaten the game, a "powerful" character is not worth money in any way. There are enough characters that do more than enough damage to go through the game as it is.

No I mean, her powers are unique and genuinely interesting and change up combat to a significant degree, also like Zaaed she actually has quite a bit of dialogue if you continue to interact with her, just not conversations.
 
The problem with ME2 was too many characters thinning out the main story. The solution isn't to add yet another character. Bleh.
 
So is the reason there's no conversations with Kasumi and Zaeed that it would require two sets of voice for a male and female Shepard. Is recording two voice tracks REALLY that hard? I'm thinking it's a space issue, maybe? But come on Bioware, you can't set the bar so high you can't even reach it yourself...

Focusing on characters and interpersonal relationships is a way of distracting away from the fact that as the middle part of a trilogy, the game can't possibly hope to move the plot forward as much as we'd like or offer us the conclusions we desire.

The problem (as far as the story goes, I had a glut of problems with Mass Effect 2 game design decisions) was that the main story was horrible. That there were a few interesting characters (along with some that were just as horrible as the main story) helped the game, not hurt it. Some of the characters and their loyalty missions were what saved the game as far as I'm concerned. Developing a bad story more wouldn't make it better, it would just make more of the game unbearable.
 
Wow, the Let-Bioware-Bum-Three-Bucks-Off-of-You funny money had already chased me off, but that DLC looks like an awful deal. However, I think the real star of that QL is just how bad Brad is a games. I had heard rumors but didn't believe them until now. :P
 
Fucking hell some of you people are cynical.

For what it's worth, having loved Mass Effect 2, I found the DLC to be thoroughly enjoyable. It was a pretty unique little mission and Kasumi is a cool addition. While yes it's disappointing she's not as fully integrated into the game as the full on party members I still liked her story pieces that you can get from going to her room.

I don't have any problem with how much it cost, I felt I got my moneys worth.

I said it before and will say it again. Brad is not horrible at gaming, maybe slow to adapt new games but not a crappy gamer.

He Bloody beat SPLOSION MAN and got all the achievments. what more do you want.

Oh yeah, Thane. Less characters & more character driven story, I'd say. Not a big fan of Bioware's RPG's :( Not my cup of tea I guess.

It should show up on their ustream thing as a past broadcast or w/e just fine. Assuming ustream can handle 8 hour long saves.

these don't usually show up on ustream, you'll just get a cut down version on the gb site :(
