Ugh, the sixaxis stuff continues to be retarded. I understand it being in Killzone 2, it was around that time where every exclusive had to justify that idiotic feature, but at least Naughty Dog learned their lesson and removed it all from Uncharted 2.

I'm always surprised to see people that dislike MvC3's art direction. It has such a rich color palate, and they really nailed the comic book feel in both the matches and the general interface. Just about every hyper combo is a visual delight as well.

Take Galactus for example, just flat out terrible art. Looks like a guy in going to comiccon with a costume.
Compare that to the older superior 2d games, they even made Onslaught look cool.

I like the bomb placing stuff. The wheel-turning still animates badly, unfortunately.

Personally I really enjoyed the sixaxis stuff in Killzone 2. I feel like it is the best way to implement it without being something crazy. I was glad to see sixaxis removed from Uncharted though because it did not work well in my experience.

This is one boring game, like half Flower half Katamari with none of the charm of either.
The later levels in the earlier Quick Look EX they had looked a lot more interesting because of the enemies/more complex 2D sections.

Huh? People are always saying how much they love Vinny and how great he is.
Maybe a better word is underused. He tends to be in the background during the features, especially podcasts. But maybe that's just his personality.

He's their producer, that's why he's mostly always in the back for features.

The best compliment you can give Sixaxis stuff is "It didn't get in the way too badly." The game would be no worse off -- and in my opinion even better off -- if you just pressed a button multiple times to turn a wheel. Or if you want to get really crazy with it, rotate an analog stick. What kind of idiot is sitting there going "Oh man, it really felt like I was turning a wheel!"?

Either mostly or always. Can't have it both ways. /semantics-nerdism

Vinny is amusing, yeah.

Haha, awesome de blob 2 look.

Thought the original de Blob was a million seller?
We extrapolate that it did. They said 800,000 less then a year after release, so over a million by now seems a safe assumption.

I think that load was just about one minute, thirty seconds on the dot. To hell with that.
There is something wrong with their Xbox. For me it takes 20 seconds to load a stage.

Also, the first thing anyone should do before playing is turning of the voices, because they are horrendous.

Why did they put Vinny on De Blob 2 QL if he's colorblind?
Maybe to see if the game is playable by colour blind people.

Or maybe just to show that Brad is so bad he can get beaten at a colour game by some who is colour blind.

hard corps is awesome, its insane how bad they can make a game look if they dont like it.

I hate to be that guy complaining about them doing it wrong, but this time they really kind of did.

The things they complain about like the boss having a second form or the checkpointing are exactly like in every other Contra game ever, that kind of challenge is the whole point of a Contra game.

Hell, that motorcycle sequence is pretty much 1:1 with the original Hard Corps motorcycle sequence.

Hard Corps seemed fun but damn thats some trolling on the developers part by adding a qte at the end of that sequence.

Game seems difficult enough without some random thing like that thrown in.

It's not really a QTE, more of an indication that you have to jump. You'll most likely die on your first time, but after that you should be able to do it without any problems. Doesn't make it fair though.

They have a few bullshit moments in the game where you'll die cheap deaths, but overall it's a pretty good game.

OMG at the load times. I counted 1:35 at one point.
somnethings wrong with their system. i counted the loading on my 360, its 24 seconds before each level (and the levels are very long).
