It was made by a guy called takua108 on giantbomb. I don't think he's trying to fleece you for your membership, well he hasn't taken mine yet at least. You can check out the leaderboards to see if you see any other prominent names you might be familiar with. But yeah, if you don't trust it and are not man enough to put up your xp then that's cool too. :P

edit: Also it was featured in a community spotlight.

Not really. The game has no manual and does not explain anything about how to play it. Ryan and Vinny did some split screen co-op, but Vinny spends most of that just trying to figure out how Fettel even works at all.
 
Shadows of the Damned was supposed to be out today wasn't it? Was looking forward to that considering I've seen nothing on this game besides the first trailer.

Yeah it was supposed to be up this morning. Hopefully it will still be out at some point.

Yup. That Coming up on Giant Bomb box totally had it pegged for this morning. It makes that box seem even more pointless...

Indeed. They shouldn't have that schedule if every other video gets delayed anyway.

yeah this really annoys me. i they are going to have a schedule make it so you can see it any time. i think its really cool even if it isnt always going to be right, but it needs to be accessible all of the time
 
Yes! Been looking forward to this Quick Look since I saw it on the "upcoming" thing. It's released tomorrow in the UK and I could not be more excited for it.

It controls more like Uncharted, or Alan Wake or whatever than RE 4. Jeff just likes to complain about RE 4 for some reason, possibly because it gets a lot of votes in polls for best game of the last decade and Mortal Kombat vs. DC doesn't.

I got it from Amazon by signing up for their Amazon Visa. They gave me a $40 gift card instantly for doing so. Otherwise I might have waited for a price drop.

Jeff seemed to come around on the controls after he realized that it has the indicator telling you if your shot is actually going to land or not.

He ended the quick-look very positively as well.

It was a great Quick Look. Nice to see them so positive about a game that could have slipped under the radar thanks to a small development budget and a non-existing marketing budget.
 
A little late, but Shadows of the Damned looks awesome. I'm torn on it though, I want to go out and buy immediately but I'm pretty sure the price will be slashed in a few weeks max.
 
I'd kinda like to play Shadows of the Damned but I have the same problem with RE4-esque floaty-reticle shooters that Jeff seems to. I feel like if the reticle was locked to the middle of the screen like every other shooter I'd breeze through those games, but unsticking the dot and letting it move all around the screen makes me lose my confidence.
 
Pains me to watch Vinny trying to fight off the Krog horde he had following him. Continuously clicking on the enemies just cancels the attack while still showing the animation and he does no damage IIRC. The beginning of DS 1 is just terrible, so this QL isn't doing it any favors as they said. Gets so much better after the first dungeon when you can actually hire some henchmen.

I feel like I'd still rather play DS than DS3 judging by the demo. The new one has pretty much nothing from the old games gameplay wise.
