I think one of their encoding machines is a bit fucked, at least for the HD encodes. It seems most of the videos lately have this weird pulsing encoding stutter where the image looses clarity every second or so. Anyone else notice this? Very noticeable in the GoW3 QL

That Ghost Recon game is supposed to be very good. I really want to play it because I love Advance Wars, but I can't justify spending $200 on the system and the cart just for one game.

Those skins are kinda boring. I mean, $3 for a simple red/blue color scheme based on your current team? Also, one of my biggest gripes with Xbox Live is not giving me previews of things like themes, pictures, or skins. Not that I buy them all the time, but if I have no idea what the thing I'm purchasing looks like and it has no refunds, I am not going to buy it.

Jeff, if you read this, I commend you on this dumb service you provide of wasting your own money on things for my personal benefit.

The outrageous thing is that some of those skin are just flat out bad. The flower texture had nothing to it. It really was just a purple texture with flowers on it over the weapons model. That is lazy as shit and it looks like shit. I can whip such a texture out in under a minute.

Yeah, once you have a model with good UVs, sticking a flower texture on it is nothing. It's pretty lame to pay for images they just slapped on there instead of actual changes to the geometry of the weapons, which might have been neat if done right.

I love the grunt party skull. but I don’t think I’ll ever see the Gears equivalent since it appears mutators are super hard to unlock.

I wasn't expecting miracles but damn Patrick/Jeff is just too dry a combination to really lift something like this. Needed a Vinny or a Dave or a Ryan to make it something worthwhile. It was flat.
