Watching Drew struggle so much with F1 makes me feel like a God for being so good at the game with no assists, haha.

I really enjoyed F1 2010, but I found the difficulty gap too much. It was either too easy or too hard.

It's all about practice. The more you turn off the better you get, but you have to be ready to crash/do shit until it clicks.

And to be honest, it's kind of hopeless without a proper racing wheel ...

I really want to play 2011, but there are so many games coming out, including Forza 4. I wont 2010 in a contest and played about halfway through a single player campaign and then quit. I also remember the last game never dropped in price much.

Thank god for some more Vinny, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to masturbate today.

You could always rewatch a video. It makes it take longer, and it's not as much fun, but it gets the job done I find.

Does Vinny buy a racing wheel?

he really should. the new fanatec Forza 4 wheels are coming out. (also work on PC and PS3). they look great and the new shifter and pedals seem like a win

(I just bought the new metal shifter to go with my old Porsche fanatec wheel)

Vinny, buy a wheel

Didn't Vinny post in the thread earlier today? This would be so awkward to come across xD

It doesnt matter, it is awkward anyway I think because GB threads here are plastared with Vinny worshiping/strange love and Brad hate (sadly).

ninja edit: double quicklook for after work, yay!

Normally I'd be all up nerd angry in here re: Brad doing some of the things he does in RE4, but that game is still so fucking good, and it makes me so damn happy that he at least appreciates it that I don't care.

Whatever man, he never even let Salvador behead Leon. Everyone lets that happen at least once per playthrough, right? :(

Don't you not want headshots in RE4?
Why wouldn't you? Headshots in RE4 doesn't always mean an instakill, but it still does the most damage and makes the enemies stumble, which allows you to kick them.

Headshots do more damage, and headshots allow you to run up on a dude and kick him, thus saving ammo.

There's a myth that shooting the heads is what causes Plagas to come out, but it's untrue. You can shoot them in the chest or the feet, but if you're just shooting them, then at a certain point the Plagas will come (or they'll come out on their own once they're near you).

Why I love Brad;
"It take me forever to play through a game because I look at everything. Honestly a bunch of artist and level designers put so much work into making these environments I want to look at the work they did."

I haven't been following this game at all so this should be interesting.
I haven't either. Honestly I think it's one of those games you don't need to follow, already know exactly what it is and it will probably be excellent.

53 minutes, can't wait to see Brad suck at this game. I truly hope it's not Brad or Jeff.

I haven't done detailed tests in RE4, but I confirmed that headshots increase the chances of las plagas in RE5 (there's 2 types of las plagas spawns: the ones which happen regardless of where you shoot the enemy, and the random ones which only happen if you damage the head of the enemy somehow). I made a video showing that behavior as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGO8v66JR3E
I'm fairly certain I'm the biggest RE5 geek in the world.

Maybe RE4 works the same way. It wasn't immediately obvious in RE5 without doing proper tests (since there are enemies who are scripted to always mutate no matter where you shoot them).
