Just remembered that the P4 endurance run ended on exactly 100 hours(or seconds before it). That was awesome.

I don't want to see someone play a game for 100 hours... but I'd be okay with skipping around 15 hours. Maybe I would even watching someone play 6-7 games for a 100 hours.

Couldn't he have used (and thereby discarded) the padlock key? I think it opens a shortcut. Watching the ensuing dilemma suggested that great care had been taken to map out how much inventory space a player would have at any given time: little enough to entertain a sense of scarcity, but never none -- but no care whatsoever to account for people pulling a Brad by not following the lain out path step-by-step.

God, Vinny's low volume jokes are the BEST.

Vinny and Ryan are definitely the highlights of the Bombcast. Everyone else is there to be their straight men.

Ben Folds provided the soundtrack.

I am fascinated by the time mechanic in Achron. I really did feel like it made time into a comprehensible "fourth dimension". Besides being able to move units to different locations you could move them to different points on the timeline. The hard part to me would be to remember that you can use time manipulation to accelerate production of units. That's a little mind bending. Also, the fact you could see impending battles approaching on the timeline and what their outcomes will be is amazing. Even more so the fact that you can use that information to alter your strategy in advance, thus changing the outcome of the fight before it even starts.

I would love to see what Relic could do with the time mechanic.

I'm pretty sure the coming soon thing said 8:00 AM, but I'm not sure if that's pacific or eastern or what.

So either in one hour or three.
 
I want to watch it SO BAD but I'm gonna wait til I've played Dark Souls first. I want to go in totally fresh.

I did watch Resi 4 HD today, though. Man that game still looks great. £20 is too much for me, but I might throw in the Wii version again sooooon..
 
They all speak positively about both Demon's and Dark Souls on the newest Bombcast. I think they all realise it's not really a game for them, but they admire it for what it does.

It wouldn't be the first time a Quick Look clashed with their actual review of the game - They were pretty harsh on Monster Hunter Tri's QL, but their reception of it was still positive overall.

It's a bit sad because none of them really understand what Demon's Souls is except Vinny. He's trying to explain as best anyone can, but they're not really listening.

I'm more of the opinion that the timer ticks over at 100 hours and refuses to go any higher.
 
Once they reach the bridge, the quick look gets hardcore. God, I'm getting nostalgic about Demon's Souls.

That's definitely not the case, you can over the 99:59 hour mark. I have 150 hour save. Plus there were several times they lost an hour or two of playtime.
