Thanks for the input. Maybe I'll download Chaos Theory from PSN some time.

Keep in mind, that if you don't like stealth games in the first place, Chaos Theory probably isn't going to change your mind.

I'm not sure how great it plays now though. I'm not really one to say that good games can age or become unplayable, but certainly some of Chaos Theory's appeal comes from how good everything looks and sounds, which likely won't impress nearly as much as 2005.

But stuff like the excellent set-pieces, abudance of tense moments, branching paths and moody environments should all remain intact.

Edit: ^ That's true. My recommendation comes as someone who never really played the multiplayer though, so take that as you will. The campaign is also pretty beefy.

Jeeze guys two multiplatform quicklooks in a row on Ps3 why do they hate the 360 so much waaaaaahhhhhhh.

If you posted something like this but opposite 5 pages ok I hate your face

Oh those are terrible ports, but Ryan also fucking sucks at Splinter Cell.
Yeah I'm not judging the games at all, just the quality of the ports and the lack of effort they put in them, not worth it imo.

Well it's par for the course when it comes to Ubisoft. Their Prince of Persia ports also suck.

Thank god I'm not the only one. I grew up playing flight simulators and I just can't freaking deal with not being able to invert camera Y axis.

I'm playing Ico/SotC collection, and the old 2001 camera style on Ico is driving me nuts. SotC has the option, I'd freaking pay for a DLC that added it to Ico, no joke.

BG&E totally had inverted controls, it just also inverted the X-axis as well. Weirdly enough that only took 10-15 minutes to get used to.

I was able to overcome the inverted x axis.. except for the fact that the camera view was NOT inverted x-axis. My poor brain just couldn't compensate and I had to stop playing.

I actually think he did alright, considering he frequently admitted that he's not very good at Stealth games. It was also nice that him messing up a couple times wasn't immediately chalked up to a flaw on the games part. One of the better OL's of older games I've seen, despite the actual flaws with getting the game to start.

Just what I needed to relax myself from that other games' hype.

I wish I hadn't seen that Gears 3 spoiler in the related videos, sigh...

Yeah they're real classy about spoilers on the YT page. For a while they had the ending scene to Driver autoplaying if you went to the main channel.

What is this in regards to? Did they have to swap discs to load a new area? I thought this should only happen once.
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but they cut the video once to switch discs, and after complained about some difficulties they had when switching.

Brad: You'll be able to tell I've done a lot of this, 'cause...

*stabs his hand*

Vinny: OHHHHHHHhhhh!

Brad: Or not.

Yeah the quick look didn't really sell me on Rage. It looks like they had a lot of ambition but then didn't have the time or the money to bring out most of that ambition.

Rage looks pretty lame. I was looking forward to it.
Game hasn't looked appealing since day one. That's great they have a pretty game and all. Too bad at the end of the day it's just a shooter that does nothing to stand out.

Well I'm not saying I had found it appealing till now, I'd just hoped I would find it appealing by the time it came out. I thought they were being bold by trying a new IP, and making something a little more colourful. I was planning to buy it on Steam, but now it's looking like I'll hold out for a significant sale, or rent it on console maybe.

Quick look sold me on Rage, but I'm easily entertained by trivial side quests and such.

Hasn't the game been in development for a while? They have the big money of Zenimax behind them too.
