How cool would a space shuttle simulator be in the style of that A-10 game? I bet those things have mad buttons.

I have the biggest boner right now.

You should check this out then. I played around with a demo version a year or two back and it was pretty damn awesome. If you don't accelerate the time though, it takes like 8 hours to lift off, haha. I can't remember if everything was interactive in the cockpit or not, and it's not as pretty, but it was interesting checking everything out.

Checking out a previous post of mine, it looks like it's closer to 2 hours before lift off, and all the panels and such are interactive. Might have to re-download the demo to check it out again.

Something is really wrong with me when I considered purchasing that for fifty dollars.

I would totally buy that on steam for ten though...

Qube looks pretty nifty.

Stick Vinny on the game based around colors. Cruel.
When he was calling out the colors at the end I was going right along with him until Brad corrected him.

I wonder if colourblind support in the industry as a whole has progressed since the last time I checked in on it.
The last two Call of Duty games have an option to change the player's names in multiplayer to be more colorblind friendly. It does help a bit.

Jeff wanted to love, but Ryan killed it.

Also, where the mushroom goes is dependent on your relation to the block after it's finished rising,
if you'er standing to its left it will be sent right and vise versa.

I played Giana Sisters a year or so ago on iPhone (touch controls were ok, game is never that hard), I agree with Ryan mostly, it's pretty much a bland platformer.

I still had fun with it though, probably worth it if you can find it cheap.

Between Pushmo, this, and Renegade Kids next, this is probably as interested as I've ever been in Nintendo's digital platforms.

The music in Switchforce is amazing.

Holy shit that's the music from Might Milky Way and Mighty Flip Champs. I had never heard of those games, but bought the soundtracks through that Indie Music Bundle. Those sounds tracks are amazing, specifically the level select music. It's funky as hell.

Mighty Switch Force is a lot of fun. It's a little unfortunate that it's very very short, though.

Yeah, it's probably quite a bit shorter than Patrick made it sound to be and beating the Par Times is not all that interesting. I would've vastly preferred online leaderboards.
It's still a really great game, though.

There are only about 15 levels. Not 30, as Patrick said.

Also, I found it hilarious that the simple concept of a police officer capturing escaped convicts is not the plot he gave Jeff.

yeah, i just shook my head at the chicks in the apocalypse explanation he gave. i like klepek but i would think he could do a little better research concerning this game given his supposed journalism background. oh well. still glad to see they did a quick look of this great game. i love wayforward and they really need to get more exposure. one of the best 2d developers around in my opinion. really wish they would start doing xbla/psn stuff.

I'd love to see the Dave, Vinny and Drew do a quick look or throwback of the original X-com. What with all the X-com news lately.

Mighty Switch Force looks so good and that soundtrack thanks for the link will purchase that today.Times like this I wish I had a 3DS I guess soon.

Even virt can't stop the wubwubwubwub! :P Soundtrack is classic virt, and this being a wayforward game should be a no brainer for 3DS owners.

Ha, I was wondering what he was talking about.

"Okay, so this girl is clearly a space cop, and these are space convicts that need to be captured. Wait, rescuing girls in the apocalypse? Huh?"

Also, him calling the checkpoint chihuahua a cat brought up fond memories of the LEGO POTC Quick Look and the "dog."

I don't know about no brainer because the game is like an hour long. You can probably get a lot more out of it if you're way into speed running, though.

They did BloodRayne: Betrayal.

oh yeah. totally forgot about that. sorry. loved that game too, can't believe i forgot it was wayforward. thanks for refreshing my memory.

man, i've been playing the choplifter hd demo for a while now. i really need to go ahead and just buy it. i have been wanting an update for this title for years now. but i told myself at the end of the year that i wouldn't buy any new titles until i cleared some of my backlog or a game had a significant price drop. my 7 year old self is staring at me with disdain due to all the memories of choplifter on my master system.

They would have to be a little ways in, I think...?

Or a GB endurance run

holy fuck

DVD X-Com endurance run... oh man.
