wow, thought i was the only one. the H3 beta is definitely the bonus for me, i guess that's why i'm not as bothered by the issues as some are.

Imagine if you just found out Pokemon, or Pikmin, or something along those lines was delayed just for you but not everyone else. I bet your panties would bunch up.
 
This most liekly has been answered but I'm not going through thousands of posts to find it...

If you have one 360 with two accounts (both with gold) and one Crackdown disc, can Beta be played through both accounts? And I don't mean at the same time, just wondering if it can be played through more than one account on one 360. I don't want to share my brother's friends.

I am dissappointed. I worked everything in advance so that today and tomorrow I would have enough time to play the BETA. I guess you can never count in anybody but yourself. I am confident however that Bungie will do something to make it up.
 
I know it's been mentioned before, but I love how Major Nelson's site goes offline right as the Beta gets delayed. He's like fu## this noise, I'm on a plane back to HQ, go bug Bungie. I can't really blame him though.

This is the game of the 360. Not Gears. Not Mass Effect. Not ****in Viva pinata. It's Halo 3.

There should not be this problem.

But then again, no one should have ever believed it would get out on time if you take into account MS's track record with Live...

Nope, I still wouldn't act like some of the people here. Shit happens. A free demo got delayed. If that's enough to ruin a person's day, he needs to reexamine his life.
 
I bet this thread reaches 9500 posts before we get the beta through Crackdown.

they did, they partnered with the Aegis Wing interns. go download it now, it's your consolation prize!

I called into work/thats about 50% of why I'm pissed. 25% is posts like that. and the last 25% I hand over to MS for this debacle.
 
im so tired now. up since last night and still no go. there's just no more energy left in me. im out for a nap--hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

The whole $60 demo thinking is steaming horseshit, and you know it. It might have been the only reason you bought Crackdown, but it's not what you paid for.

That was already scheduled in advance since 3 days ago. When I mean something to make it up, I mean something related to Halo like a surprise to fans.

I played it when it came out. I remember it, too. The clock struck 12:01 and my files started unlocking. Great night that was!

Nope, I was playing it at midnight because I had preloaded it and all I had to do was push the unlock button. WIN! Thank you, Valve!

I bought the boxed copy and got hosed because of Valve's **** up.

Everyone here will just have to suck it up and play the beta later or just don't bother.
