It would be very unlike Bungie to reveal a new feature and tell us everything about it at the same time.DopeyFish said:it's quite possible there is far more than just 3 different armor types.
I'm pretty confident Stinkles' pants are safe.Eric WK said:If the armor changes have any effect outside of aesthetics, I'm going to poop Stinkles' pants.
That would be unbelieveably horrible.

but then the playing field would be totally uneven. Imagine getting in a heated firefight, and just before going in for the mellee finisher, you have to stop and think twice because the enemy is wearing CQB armor?! If that doesn't totally FVCK up the halo formula then i don't know what does. That's imo, worse than anything bungie ever did with dual wielding in Halo 2.Tieno said:Even if it'd suck, I wouldn't really mind it cause we'll have the option to turn it off. Choice is good
If Stinkles isn't clearing this up we must assume it's true.

And who knows what EVA armor would do..."oh let me drive, i have the driving armor!" Halo is about providing a balanced game where people have to make important split second decisions in the heat of battle...it is NOT about people making important decisions before the battle that determines how they partake in that battle. bleh STINKLES!!!!

I mean, you could turn that feature off and just have old-school no advantages.REV 09 said:but then the playing field would be totally uneven. actually, no...and i did doubt bungie on the equipment which turned out just fine (awesome). But i can not see anything good out of making the game semi class based as the names somewhat suggest.GhaleonEB said:Do you really think Bungie would do that?

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't introduce a class system, those names are probably just there just to make them seem professional and easier to reference to instead of having "shiney helmet skin" kind of names.actually, no...and i did doubt bungie on the equipment which turned out just fine (awesome). no, don't you see...it could be just like Gears, where the matchmaking is totally FUBARed. Leaving us only to play pure custom games. God save us:lolEric WK said:You honestly think Bungie would leave such a huge gameplay change out of Matchmaking?
I don't know, it'd complicate things for sure.Eric WK said:You honestly think Bungie would leave such a huge gameplay change out of Matchmaking?

Important words.Shoho said:Im not in the beta, but from what I have heard from people in it, the game is just not that exciting. People are saying that its very solid and feels done for a Q4 release, but, people prefering to play shadowrun or forza 2?:/
This is a different issue. The 360 userbase will be about 2/3 what the Xbox userbase was when Halo 2 was released. It will be harder to have as large an upfront sales total, but it will have much longer legs given the relative point in the lifecycle of each console they're releasing at. (I actually think it will debut with a faster sell-through than Halo 2, but that's me.)Right now I just have a hard time seeing Halo 3 selling 5 million copies in less than 3 weeks, like halo 2 did.
I love predictions like this.I think it might end up like with MGS2. Mega hyped game that sold like crazy. even though MGS3 was better, it suffered because of peoples dissapoint with it.
Um, what?I know halo 2 had great online play but if only 10% of all the halo 2 buyers went online, alot of people have been feeling "f**k this game".

I wondered if it was that, or if that was just the style. It is on the folds though, so that makes sense.GhaleonEB said:The silkscreen printing is just okay though - the printing actually wore off at the fold marks in my shirt. Im not going on the "it looks like halo 2 in high def" but damn.
Peoples responses seem pretty freakin underwhelming.
Its the same with GTA. maybe the psp GTAs just made people uninterested.
It's 3 maps. If you had the choice to play something that just came out for a while, or the same 3 maps, which would you choose?Shoho said:Im not in the beta, but from what I have heard from people in it, the game is just not that exciting. You haven't played it so how do you even know? There are tons of Halo fans that aren't playing the beta that will pick it up on day one because its Halo.Right now I just have a hard time seeing Halo 3 selling 5 million copies in less than 3 weeks, like halo 2 did.

The shirt quality is indeed high - it's a nice thick shirt. The silkscreen printing is just okay though - the printing actually wore off at the fold marks in my shirt. I hope it doesn't flake off after a few washings like many of my other scree-printed shirts do.

There's not worn spots per se, just creases where the shirt shows through the printing at the folds. You can't even see them from a few feet away. I'm just hoping it's not an idication that washing will wear it off. (No signs after the first time through.) Not a big deal, really.Darko said:i got the charcoal, is the print on the front of your have warn out spots all over, or that the style of it?
