First they show Seattle. 'You might not recognize it but behind me is the office of Bungie Studios, who are currently working on Halo 3. We're going inside and we're going to play the multiplayer'
'we're gonna get some developers in front of the camera to ask them what they themselves think off Halo 3'
*bunch of Q&A stuff, all English until this:*
'why are you releasing a Beta?'
*answer in English*
'I've got the feeling that you are your own worst critic?'
*answer in English*
'can you PLEASE tell me something about the Singleplayer'
*answer in English*
'ok it's the next day, I've gotten some time to think about all the stuff I saw at Bungie and I think that I'm pretty impress. I have to admit that I've never been a big fan of the series, it's a bit too much fantasy for my liking and I like the more realistisc stuff such, like the Rainbow Six series but I still think Halo 3's really well put together. You can really tell that Bungie thought about what Multiplayer is supposed to be like and how the community works. I think the most important feature we saw was the Save Film feature where gamers can record their stuff and replay them in slowmo etc. Machinima lovers and the guys behind Red vs Blue are gonna have a blast with this.'
'we saw 6 maps, 3 of those were in the Beta. We also saw 3 new maps, the most notable one is the Zanzibar remake. It really makes you realize how outdated Halo 2 is. It looks gorgeous, the texture resolution is amazing, the water looks amazing. It reminded me of the water on a tropical island. We also saw some new weapons and new vehicles but I wont bore you with those details (red.: IDIOT! He didn't actually say bore but that's the best translation I can do for that line.). We haven't seen any Singleplayer unfortunately. We've spoken with someone who calls himself the Sandbox designer, which could implicate that GTA/Saint's Row feeling. Could Halo 3 be a fully open world? I personally don't think so. They told us that we shouldn't take that title literally but it's more about the playworld where you can use everything the way you want it.'
*English stuff about the PP/Power Drainer*
'And that's their explanation of the whole Sandbox thing. That could mean that the Singleplayer mode could be a bit linear like in Halo 2. It's pretty cool though that they said that Halo is a trilogy, which in fact means that this is the game that wraps it all up. This means that this is gonna be the game that's gonna explain what's going on with the war, what's going to happen with the Master Chief.'
'Before I went on this trip I was more a Gears of War fan than a Halo fan but that could change because Halo 3 looked really cool. Halo 3 is gonna bring a couple of things that I missed in the first 2 games, ie. a co-op mode. It's been confirmed that that's coming. Probably with more than two players because when I asked about that they responded that '2 players in co-op? that's impossible!' (red.: I have no clue on what he's trying to say with that line so it's hard to translate) Maybe you can even play with 4 players.'
'It's unfortunate but true that we haven't gotten to see any singleplayer stuff. I don't hope that that'll become a trend in the industry, where we're gonna have to fly all the way across the globe to check out each mode. But whatever, Halo is so big, **** it, it's worth it. I'm sure that when the full game hits in November it'll become a big hit. Phat!'
