Just finished reading the article and checking out the pics and all I can say is WOW. The Bungie Team after the release deserves a nice vacation featuring massages, cabanas, ice cold kegs on a Last Resort-esque beach. Everything looks and sounds fantastic...and more importantly fun! Sept. 25th, where art thou?

Having worked in a CG studio where alot of promo shot work was done, I can tell that this screenshot took FOREVER to set up. I can count at least like 7 different elements they had to render separately to composite into that shot.
Yeah, there is no way that this shot is a cap from an actual game. I do appreciate that it's done very carefully to accurately capture what the game really looks like running on the console though. :lol

the lighting on the spartans looks soft and beautiful, it's amazing and I can't wait till we get a vid doc or something on the tech behind it, it's up there as the new standard for next gen characters. I can't wait to get into this game, and to think we haven't even seen a shot of single player... goddamn bungie.
