Yes and no. To my knowledge Bungie has not released any detailed maps, but you can find a rough digram here and there in the video docs. Also, The 1up show had a segment where they talked about and drew the general layout of the maps; however, it sounds like some things have changed since the 1up guys played the maps.
 
I don't get it. Are the most recent shots from the beta?

If so, they like just like the Alpha shots.

But the game will be fun regardless. I'm just alittle sad that Bungie didn't step up to the plate this time around regarding the graphics department.

the only official shots released are from the old pre-alpha build that egm saw last year and one alpha campaign shot. the vidocs have alpha footage, and recently some videos of the internal beta were leaked, but we havent seen anything from the public beta (bungies "delta" build) and likely wont till friday. not long now!

edit: I hate how the last 5 games played on your gamer card include demos of Live Arcade games. So just FYI, anyone who challenges me for a game of SFII can f*&# off! :D

Dude the site says Friday May 11th 1 AM. That's Friday morning(Thursday night)

A day begins at 12:00 AM ya know, they don't say, this show is on Thursday at 1 AM because that is giving the wrong time. Your Saying Friday 1 AM is Saturday 1 AM...

I was confused as well, but apparantly the site (and promo) are wrong - people looking up the listing on Tivo and other similar devices see it listed at 1am Saturday.

hes right though. i know, makes no sense, and the site plainly says fri 1am which should mean one hour after thurs ends.... but it doesnt. blame spike i guess. i went through your same arguement the other day and was shown to be wrong

I ran into the same confusion. This is my logic on it. I believe Game Head used to come on at 1AM Saturday, and has been changed to 1AM Friday. If you look at the spiketv.com TV schedule it does list Game Head as being on at 1AM Friday. I'm guessing that it has not been updated in most TV listings, which is something that happen to me with another show.

No worries. It's all good.

But yeah, I checked the guide on my cable box earlier to see myself. It definitely lists Gamehead (NEW) at 1AM Saturday morning and something else on at 1AM Friday.

I won't be able to play the Beta until later in the week. Will I have any trouble downloading it after the launch date, say Saturday (the 19th)?

I really don't know what's the point of staying home Wednesday. Why? Because XBL is gonna burn down when this beta goes up and it's gonna take a good grip for it to download.

Xbox Live basically crashed and burned when the Halo 3 trailer was put up. I imagine the Beta will have an impact. :lol

This is why I took the 17th off as well...
 
I do wonder what MS has in mind to handle the bandwidth crunch. Honestly, if I see a press release afterwards exclaiming the "unexpected" demand caused download problems... especially after the beta sign-ups melted the registration servers...

I'm giving you 4 hours Microsoft! I better be playing Halo by Noon EST May 16th or I will post mean things about you online! Scathing bitter hatred!

At least it's going up on a Wednesday morning though, as opposed to say evening/weekend.
