The sound effects sound better too, than Halo 2 as best as I can remember. The weapons sound like they have a lot more umph to them.

Indeed, SMG actually sounded kind of threatening in the Multiplayer ViDoc.

Also, something you guys will probably find insignificant, but... 2:46-48, part where the grey SPARTAN gets tagged with a Spike Grenade, I was watching the scene in slow motion and it seemed as though he was switching weapons in mid-air. The animation looked really nice.

Instead of ****ing Shadowrun they shoulda just released a multiplayer only 5 month long demo of Halo. Make it explode my xbox after 5 months, I don't give a shit. The Beta hasn't even started yet and I'm already experiencing withdrawal.

Depends on what they're clinging to. People who think Halo 2 sucks because the pistol isn't back won't be happy. But everything I've seen/read/heard has me convinced Halo 3 MP will compare quite favorably to both previous games.

Those saying the game doesn't look very good must not have played Halo 2 on a HDTV. I've been playing the game non-stop MP on my new 61'' 1080p TV through the 360 and while it looks "ok" it looks blurry and not very impressive..

These new videos are just what I wanted to see. Even in the low quality form I can see that the game is a SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT over Halo 2(as it should be). I can only imagine how nice this is going to look running at 1080p on my TV next week.

Again those saying that it doesn't look to hot, go back and play Halo 2. If you're still not impressed then fluck it I guess it's a lost cause.

I've been super paranoid about that happening to me. I had the 360 freeze on me tonight once while playing Halo 2, but the system has given me no other problems (except Oblivion DRE's, but that's par for the course), and it ran fine after so I'm not too worried. If my 360 breaks between now and anytime before the beta ends I'm going to be soooooo pissed.

What is the point of the x button's cancelling anyway? I originally thought it was put in there intentionally to make these button combinations possible.
