There will be XBL Public custom games, but not in the beta.

All right thanks for the info. Do the copies of Crackdown in stores still have the beta invites in them? And are they still valid?
 
I was really hoping to get a Friends and Family invite. But I don't have any friends. And all my family died in a fire when I was but a lad. I was crippled. Confined to this damned wheelchair, my hands and heart calloused like so much skin that has been calloused due to friction and whatever else causes callouses to form. My only solace from this lonely, barren, nightmare of existence was to be included in Bungie's Friends and Family program. I bent all my will toward this one hope. This one bright, pinpoint of light piercing the darkness of my subterranean hovel I've filled with the littered carcasses of Fun Size Cheetos bags and empty cans of Diet Mountain Dew. But now it seems that all may be lost. Seems I must find a way to be content with pixelated content streaming from my tiny, computer (which was also in the fire, and is also confined to a wheelchair), while others (with fully functioning legs and friends and family) enjoy what was to be my motivation to go on living. Oh well, I guess fair is fair.

And I have cancer.

And I only have four days to live.

Because of the cancer, which will kill me. In four days.

I'm sure I could do them with ease all the time if I wanted, I have caught myself doing BXB from time to time after becoming a victim of it on myself, but I just want a good clean glitch free game.

Also, quit building me up you ****ers! I don't want to hear the endless shit talking when I have a 2-17 game like Ironclad the other day...:lol :D

I also want an endless supply of media to gawk at when I get home from work, don't dissapoint! Oh and my brother is buying me a new 360 until I can get this one repaired and sell it off and pay him back, no way I'm missing this ****ing beta :lol
 
yo stinkles when should the beta info start coming in from all the news outlets?

and at what time are the nyc and san fran press events?
 
Just to be sure, are we going to be able to play with guests in the beta ? If yes, one or 3 ? If not, will we be abel to to that in the final game ? Thanks.

its a melee cancel so you go to a quick melee by cancelling the first animation.

personally, never saw it as a cheat but as an exploit of the game mechanics bungie created.
 
dear everyone, please try and glitch and cheat the shit out of the beta. That way less of it will make it into the game (hopefully) that I will eventually purchase.

anything aside from modding then is fair game? what about standby? the elite dummy? those were just exploits in the shipped games mechanics

I wouldn't worry about it. It won't take very long before glitches are spread all over beta, and they will be nuked before the final release.

standby is you pressing a button on your modem, not part of the code in the game.

i feel that anything thats part of the code is game.

i dont support standby because thats not part of the game Bungie wrote, and it was their fault that modding started, but exploits like bxb and bxr are their fault. its something they would have never noticed while creating the game, because heck, even now only the best players use it.
 
So can anyone confirm what all graphical things will be different form the beta to the retail? And how much different will the single player look from the final?
