The Halo 3 Beta Thread

Just got back from nine hours spent at the NYC Halo 3 preview event. The game is absolutely fantastic, and it looks gorgeous, as well. I got to interview Frankie - and he SHOOK MY HAND several times. Best day ever.

well i guess i didnt make it very clear which is why everyone thinks i'm a cheat. i didnt ruin anything for anyone. i only BXR and BXB in hardcore or mlg customs. everyone uses it and no one complains.

if, IF, i play team slayer or other playlists i dont do stuff like that because i get no satisfaction. kinda like standby or modding, i would never do it because theres no satisfaction in doing someone no one else can do. with these exploits i play with people that all use them, and pulling one off on someone of my skill level is satisfying.

also, you can be assured that i'll do my best to find all exploits in the beta. i DONT LIKE exploits or glitches, and never look for them, but if everyone I play with uses them i do aswell.

I crashed after the Jazz/Warriors game and just woke up and was headed up to bed and figured I would check GAF one last time before sleep. You know, check the thread, get an update on the awesomeness I'm missing out on and I noticed I had a PM to check.

Are the Friends and Family codes tied to Gamertag assigned? Someone offered it one to me, and then I read that it would only work on their Gamertag. True?

No, it's a number you enter in the REDEEM CODE thing. Accept it and PM it to me, I'll try it out to make sure.

Man I even wore a Halo2 shirt to work today (I'm a finishing carpenter) just to show the love for this special day. :lol Maybe it helped.




Hey will I be able to give someone the code I will get on Wednesday? Or does getting this early invite make that code invalid? Cause I'm willing to give it to anyone that needs one and didn't have a big enough heart to go buy the current GOTY (Crackdown).

There is another thread that was started for the F&F portion of Gaf entitled "Halo 3 Beta Party". So if you check in that thread, I'm sure you can find some folks to play with.
 
How are people still getting these F&F keys?! I'm happy for you guys. Seriously, I am, but it's a good thing the beta is just 4 days out for the rest of us. I don't think I'd last any longer.

Those of us waiting until next week ought to get together and party up. Our suffering and longing on this day will unite us. Our patience and perseverance will bring us victory.
