Because EVERYBODY ELSE is playing it. It's YOUR FAULT for giving them MONEY. Should have piggybacked a F&F.
 
I think this a marketing strategy,they think if we stare the Crackdown marketplace enough we will eventually buy something
 
the rabid Bungie.net/Xbox.com forums are putting it all in perspective, but goddamn, there better be some sort of explanation given that the beta has clearly been readily available for download through other methods for days.

I have a feeling they ****ed up in the coding for the download option through Crackdown.
 
So now it's a countdown to post 6000! After that we can have a countdown till that guy gets back from McDonalds. And then maybe a countdown till Matt Lauer does something cute on the Today Show.
 
Crackdown was already on mute after a minute of waiting. Though my own music is beginning to annoy me as well. COME ON STINKLES YOU CAN DO IT

I knew this would happen eventually, is it really this hard for companies to keep on a date without a delay? It should already be uploaded for the other guys, all that needs to happen is this damn bastard grey button to turn blue.
 
Gaf is starting to slow quite a bit now....

It seems that everyone that got up to download has now lost hope, and came here to find out what the **** is going on.
 
Oh well, turned off Crackdown and went to see if I could download Aegis Wing from the US marketplace and it worked, unlike this beta rollout.

Amazing a company can spend so much time and effort hyping up the release of the beta and then jack shit happens :(
 
Damnit, more and more people on my friends list are putting in Crackdown. The download is going to go really slow when they finally flip the switch. :P
