There's a button combo to fix that. Frankie posted it a few gazillion posts ago.

Just get a wireless controller and keep the door open with a nice view to that HDTV. Remember to mute your mic when you are flushing the toilet.

Ah damn, there is a fix for that actually. Do like the others said and run to bungie.net and read the fix.

Quick fix for failure to load Beta:


Go to the dashboard.
Go to the system tab
Select memory
Highlight your hard drive
Press Y
Press X, X, LB, RB, X, X
Say yes when prompted to do maintenance on your hard drive.

This removes all previous title updates and prompts you to redownload new ones.


It will be fixed automatically in an hour, but that's a shortcut. PEACE.

Instead, do the following.
First, restart your Xbox 360.
Second, boot up the Halo 3 beta.
Third, while in the Halo 3 boot up sequence press up on the D-pad and hold the A button until you see the Bungie logo. If you've completed this correctly there will be a dialog box confirming maintenance has been done on your system.
Four, resume bathing in the Halo 3 Public Beta

Thanks for your help chaps, but it appears to have fixed itself while I have been sat here posting. Off to play some matchmaking now, good luck to everyone else. :)

Backing out, re-entering Crackdown, trying again.

Srsly ban his turd face. I have to switch between PC and Xbox for the internet, and reset my modem each time, so I can't tolerate false alarms.

Flushing the toilet cannot be heard tru the mic. allready tested that :)

"Please come back later...." I was hoping to come back from my dentist appt and play some halo 3 beta but I get this msg. Hopefully it'll be up before I have to get to work.
