My download just powered away (modem lights started going crazy) and it finished.

Probably not going to post again tonight even if it doesn't work, but it's not like anyone will miss me.
 
i've made it into 1 game so far... the guide, et al is sooooo slow... that and i keep getting stuck at "downloading information from Xbox live"...
 
it says the game is unavailable tonight for me when i click to play and that memory trick isnt working

i give up back to MLB The Show and ill try again tommorow

Hmm. Tried to join shadows game, couldn't get in. Just loading files for ****ing ever.

Now trying to get a ranked match. Made my emblem and all that, looks awesome. Hopefully we can turn those into our gamertag icons.
 
That was great while it lasted. Since it's late I'm going to bed and play some more tomorrow. Maybe we can get a game going tomorrow GhaleonEB?
 
this game is intense! it seems to be way more intense than Halo and Halo 2.

I love the new assault rifle, it's my favorite weapon so far. I was in a game of territories and someone guy on the other team was riding the mongoose, me and one other guy was shooting at it with our AR and it blew up; mongoose pieces went everywhere, debris was flying all over the place and it reminded me right then and there why I fell in love with Halo in the first place. :D
 
My screen froze while looking at my friends list while waiting for matchmaking to find a game.... and my heart almost jumped out of my throat!

Halo 3 knocked red ringed any systems yet? I can't think of a worse way or time to go....
 
Alright, just experienced the same Loading issue that other folks are. We're definitely looking into this. And it sounds like it's just server strain.

There are like 35k players on...

First couple of matches were ok, then we couldn't connect for squat. :[

Yeah. 35k players poundin' you all at once. Stress tested the floodgates (no pun intended) today.
 
Yeah that is a lot of people all jumping online at once.

I'm still loving the game and I'm starting to feel like I'm actually getting better too. Which is way better than just being a target.

:)
 
I'm loving this gameeeeeeeee. I got my first MVP, I love the weapons, I suck at sniping but I love trying, the gameplay is fantabulous. Halo 3 is great! I just need a HDTV to experience all of its greatness. :D
