I suck at team rockets. :/ Anyone have any pointers on the secrets of the rocket launcher?

know the map, and use radar, you can predict where they are coming and score a ton of kills

Some great games today, Vyse, raYne, n' Phobo.

We went on a 4 man riot spree, broken up by a few games in which us getting mopped occured.

Still plenty of great games and moments, though.

Well, we did end up with a 5-3 record (not counting the unbalanced TS match), so it wasn't too bad. But the ones we did lose... Jesus Christ. It was like a total breakdown. I blame... *scrolls down list*... Vyse.. yeah, Vyse. :lol

The best thing is putting a trip mine right in front of the man cannon in valhalla.. It's kind of hidden and hard to hear everyone goes off the one in the middle so you'll surely get a kill.

I think, in my 70 games of Halo 3, I've had more fun that I ever did in Halo 2. And I really liked Halo 2 MP. The battles are more intense, varied, dynamic and satisfying in this game, and the revised gametypes rock.

Ending this Beta is going to be like taking crack away from a lifetime user, cold turkey. It. Will. HURT.

yeah, Territories is the best on Valhalla.

To pile on the anecdotal train, I met a fellow Halo fan who still just had an Xbox last month (my wife is friends with his wife). Today she tells me he just bought a 360. Probably not a coincidence it was the day the Halo 3 Beta started.

They're a touch more powerful than the AR, but shorter range. Dual-wielding them indoors tears people up. On smaller maps - smaller than the ones in this Beta

Yes it will hurt, but you know that Shadowrun is coming out. If you love Halo 3 Beta, surely you'll love Shadowrun. Give it a go!

probably aren't doing enough damage before you deliver the final blow, then. although as the other guy said, certain weapons seem to do more damage than others (from my own experience, the Spartan Laser seemed to cave someone in pretty well).

Prior to the match joked about us coming to test the game then after kept on asking us how he kicked our asses so bad. People got pissed and finally the guy said he worked at Bungie. "I've been playing for six months. Of course I'm gonna kick your ass."

ZB SHOGUN is his name. Was amusing when all the whiny losers shut up when he said it and laughed.

:lol I just went to check my stats at Bungie.net and noticed my Halo 2 record, the funny thing is I have pretty much the exact same emblem then that I do now, my taste hasnt changed in 2 years.

and I played 62 games online of Halo 2 (last time I played was almost exactly 2 years ago), not a lot at all, ive already played 44 of Halo 3 beta. I also noticed that I was much better in Halo 2 apparently than Halo 3, but in Halo 3 I am much more of a team player.

I need a break from playing this game, im already sick of Snowbound, but Valhalla is still fun.
