Def. saved multiple films from those matches. If the Beta had custom matches and a 1000 Rocket Kills achievement I would've earned it. Thrice. Add me, GT: Your Arsonist.

My friend came over last night and we played several games split-screen. We only had lag on one of our games, the rest were all pretty smooth.

I saved one of our matches. When I played back the movie, it was also split-screen. However, once during the match I went to check the status screen by pressing start (or back) and then once I came back to the movie my POV was playing on BOTH SCREENS. My friend's POV was just gone. I could never get this fixed unless I started over.

Also, there are NO pistols at all in the beta, right? I haven't seen any.

Weird bug. And yup, the pistol is not in the Beta.

you can set it to sort by connection first

if that doesn't work, move to a proper civilization :lol

I'd imagine they'll want data from the current playlists to be pretty robust before they pull the trigger on an update. Hopefully we'll get some news about this in today's update.
 
The spartan laser is a straight up whore weapon that needs to be nerfed. I just went on a 20 kill spree because of it.

Frankie, you guys need to look into change it. IMO you guys could drop one shot from it and make it longer to charge so that it won't be so good in close up battles.

Is it possible to hold more than 4 shots (or is it 3?) in the spartan laser?

Anyways, I've had little problems killing people using the laser (take that sentence both ways, if you know what I mean).

I don't think the ammo clip has 20 charges.

have you tried setting your pref when matchmaking to look for a good connection? Check your options when you go into matchmaking you'll find it

Wow, everyone I've played with are assholes.

I'm certainly not the best FPS multiplayer I will admit. I have bad rounds where I get wasted every few seconds, though I have good rounds where I put in some good clean kills. My kill/death ratio is about even, moving up and down depending on the round. Like I said, not the best, but I have fun and so I play.

Unfortunately, most of the high ranked guys I've played with are assholes. I'm usually in a six person match with one guy who gets the first 25 kills in five minutes followed by someone with like 12 kills (sometimes me) and each consecutive player drops that by half until you get to the bottom player who probably scored 2. It never fails.

So one of these top ranked guys last night laments, before the game starts: "All these bitches are so low ranked. I suppose I better get used to kill them all, since the real players will be coming on soon and actually compete with me." :lol

Yeah the assholes are coming back in force... I was lucky enough to enjoy the weekend of just the Friends and Family folks from those choosen at Bungie.net and it was amazing how everyone was so cool to each other. Which Live would be that way all the time... :(

My deal is say nothing to them... leave feedback and be done with it. Returning the favor to them by yelling back just puts you down at their level. So for me its a "Good Game." and feedback. :)
 
There are a number of Bungie employees out there playing the Beta everyday with their fingers on the Banhammer. We aren’t going to ban people for friendly trash talk, corpse-humping or polite requests for more chocolate milk

Oh god I just realised I'm starting to read these weekly updates. It's slowly happening, I'm becoming one them. :(

I'm so much better in Rumble Pit than any of the team things it's like I'm a different player. Even when I'm on the winning team I suck in team games.
