I went looking for it, got about 3 pages in, and was like it cant be that far back wtf is going on. Then I looked up, it cant be stickied, but what do you know, there it is. Awesome mods, finally. Some Halo love.
I dont know if its just my connection, but I used to be able to download something at like half my available bandwidth and not have it effect my online gaming, but in Halo 3 it seems to make my lag horribly. Sucks.

I usually rape One Bomb on Valhalla. Its probably my best game, we score usually just under a minute

I hope at some point during the beta Bungie publishes a list of known issues in the beta. The bug report thread on the b.net forums scares me with its length.

Here are the rank sorting, near as I can tell. This took quite a while to sort out, so be grateful 
To become an OFFICER (basically any of the silver ranks - anything at Lieutenant and higher), you need to achieve the set amount of RP, *and* achieve a specific rank in any matchmaking gametype.

Recruit - 1 RP
Apprentice - 3 RP
Private - 5 RP

'Twas a lagfest. Not unplayable, but enough that people were teleporting around and having a tough time aiming at each other.
It's odd - nearly ever 4 vs 4 player has been rock-solid. I didn't think four more would get this bad.

The Banshee is the coolest thing ever in this game, and the biggest reason why I love Snowbound the most. I always make it a point to grab the laser and drainer, and if possible beam rifle and then high tail it to my baby. It's pretty easy to cruise around and avoid dying if you've got all three of those weapons. There is no greater joy than a double splatter kill.
I don't know if Snowbound is to blame for how confined yet spacious it is, but it's a lot more fun than I ever had with it previously.

They nerfed an already nerfed vehicle.
It's slower than it was on Halo 2. Ok not a big deal... It still controls as poorly as it did in Halo 2... again not a big deal....... EXCEPT YOU CAN'T AIM ANYWHERE CLOSE TO DOWNWARDS

The fuel rod moves far too slowly and is only good on retarded vehicle drivers. the main gun is a lot quicker which is a plus... sort of. Personally, I feel more dangerous as a mongoose driver
I'm glad they added BTB but kinda disappointed to hear about it being laggy, and that's with 12 players instead of 16. Hopefully you guys just got into some bad games or something.
Multi-Flag CTF on Valhalla could be fun, and I can't wait to try the banshee out though I'm guessing everyones gonna want to be trying it out as well and taking it before me

I'm in a game now, but just put my controller down. When I launch off the man cannon, it launches three or four times in a row. I threw a bubble shield down, and it took me until the shield was used up to walk far enough to get inside it.

I love big team games, but the lag makes it unplayable in two of the four games so far. Hopefully it's really cleaned up by launch. 'Tis a Beta, afterall.

Lag is not too bad in this game that I'm playing but the banshee is nerfed in my short time with it. Like Dopeyfish said it's impossible to shoot downwards now which kinda defeats the whole point of it being a flying vehicle.
controls were fine, speed was fine, the banshee model looks great, the fuel rod thing was pretty cool... but that change where you can't aim downwards just kills it.
it was really fun though to hit the enemies banshee with a plasma pistol shot and then have a teamate destroy it with a laser right afterwards

Jesus Christ do skills degrade in a hurry when you stop playing for a few days. I skipped a few days and when I logged on this morning I couldn't hit a thing. Especially with the Carbine. I usually have the upper hand when I have one equiped, but not today! I was losing battles left and right... and if it wasn't me dying, it was me taking too long to kill the target. Which of course means someone comes in and interrupts the fight. :/

If you're a decent player in a one on one situation nothing will be able to beat you(save brute shot, rockets, and maybe needler it would depend). I'm talking about t he SMG + Brute Spiker duel wielding combination. Oh god is it powerful. You will mow down guys like it's nothin' once you get in range.

I just realized that 90% of the games I played are team slayer.. I just can't play non-team online games anymore, my tastes are really shifting. I remember loving being a lone wolf in Quakeworld.. Maybe that's because I used to be so much better at these games when I was young :lol

I usually hate Slayer, but BTB team slayer on high ground is awesome. I went on a spree killed 6 people in a row with the needler, good thing no one ever bothers to pick that up :lol

I had one game on Valhalla BTB that was pretty much unplayable but the last few ones on High Ground have been mostly lag free. weird.

I really need to get around to using the Needler more; I've been owned by that thing far too often. In Halo 2, hearing incoming Needler, uh, needles impacting my shields was more of an annoyance than anything-- now it's a sound I've grown to fear. :lol
Man Skirmish games last night destroyed my k/d ratio. Going to have to start playing Team Slayer to get it up again I think.
Is BTB laggy because the matchmaking system is still learning about who is and isn't a good host? As in, in a short period of time, it might settle down?
I only played 2 games on that list and they were fine. No Banshee lovin tho :/

I was having an alright time with BTB. Little lag here and there but nothing major. A huge difference from Halo 2 when I couldn't even attempt a lag free BTB.
