My friends and i loved it for the most part. Franco was killing me. It was weaker than he other Rogan/Franco comedies but still enjoyable.

Seriously, comedies are too subjective and you should just go see it yourself.

This movie was amazing, exactly what I expected going into it. Let's face it people if you don't like Rogen and Franco's style of humour you weren't going to like this movie. The jokes delivered consistently and the sheer absurdity of the setting was just fantastic.

Just watched it last night on PSN.

Started out great but the running jokes got pretty repetitive around the latter act. Also, I found that there was wasted potential in doing an NK comedy but solely relying on dick jokes - like it works for Rogen's other movies but they missed out on better satire opportunities for the context of this one.

Still, Franco and Rogen's delivery and chemistry manages to keep those same jokes somewhat fresh even if it was going a bit downhill. Basically my laugh levels were inconsistently going up and down throughout - when the humor goes flat, it goes flat, but man did I love it whenever it works.

Overall, it's a solid 7/10 for me.

I just sat through this, rubbish. If we allocate the score purely based on number of jokes vs ones that were funny, 2/10. Overall I'd still only give it a 2, with 1 point coming from Lizzy Caplan being in it.

Sony Pictures Entertainment's "The Interview," the comedy at the center of the studio's hacking woes, is set for release on DVD and Blu-ray on Feb 17, the studio said Wednesday.

The controversial film has been available through video on-demand for weeks, but the physical home video roll-out includes a collectible "freedom edition" Blu-ray disc that boasts 90 minutes of bonus features.

Those include deleted scenes, a gag reel and behind-the-scenes featurettes with the cast and crew.

The standard DVD and Blu-ray bonus features include a Discovery Channel TV special with stars James Franco and Seth Rogen, and audio commentary from Rogen and codirector Evan Goldberg.

Sony's suggested list price is $19.99 for Blu-ray and $14.99 for DVD.

I kept hearing bad things about this but I finally saw this last night on Netflix. I thought the film was pretty damn funny. The Eminem part was comedy gold. Also, hot damn @ CIA chick.

the movie was much better than anticipated but they could have turned downed the unnecessary jokes tbh.

also use real korean (voice) actors. kinda unbearable how bad the pronounciation of everyone was. they could have used voice actors or something.

It's interesting how Hollywood casts Asians. When a typical Hollywood film needs a Asian to fill a role they usually try to get some famous native Chinese/Korean/Japanese star to fly over here, where they usually butcher the english language. But in The Interview, they hire local second/third generation Asian actors who live in North America, but to portray native Koreans, making them speak English with shitty fake accents and yelling in awkward (but not terrible) Korean. It's just strange, but I think they did a great job with their comedic roles.

i kinda get why they did hire the actors. the english parts (which are more important) were overall great by everyone. the korean parts were hilariously bad though
