The Jackbox Party Pack 3 coming to Nintendo Switch.

Fuck yes. I love Jackbox Party Pack, and this one is tons of fun.

Trivia Murder Party <3

Love Tee K.O. as well; I always expect it to go badly whenever I introduce it because it takes a ton of time to get going, but it's always unexpectedly a hit.

YES! OH GOD YES!

My friends & I love this. This is perfect. Last time I wanted to play these games, I had to bring over my PS4 just to do so and hook it up. Will be so much easier on the Switch. Esp more so in an impromptu environment away from a TV.

They should support offline local multiplayer with every player that has a switch. 8 switches can connect together locally and they all have touchscreens.

As a huge local multiplayer gamer Jackbox is the big local multiplayer franchise I have no interest in playing because of the whole creating online rooms thing.

I prefer having 8 buzzers for Buzz on PS2/PS3 and Scene It! on 360.

That's great! It's the only Jackbox game I don't have on Steam and I'm glad I held out now. I'll definitely be getting it.

You still need an internet connection to pull in content for the game.

Also you do know the Scene It buzzers worked on the Xbox 360 version of YDKJ, right?

Just for the sake of debate:

Trivia Murder Party > Quiplash 2 > Fakin' It > Tee K.O. > Guesspionage

My family rather liked Guesspionage, more than Tee K.O, which is a bit too longwinded.

Never got around to playing Fakin' It.

No lies detected at the top end.

Just for the sake of debate:

Trivia Murder Party > Quiplash 2 > Fakin' It > Tee K.O. > Guesspionage

I'm amazed anyone likes Fakin' It. It's absolute trash, everything else in that pack is fantastic.

But maybe it's just because I had high expectations because I love hidden role board games, they just failed to pull it off in Jackbox form.

Sounds like shovelware, but since people seem excited I'm guessing it's not.

It's a good time for a party/get together. Too bad the device is not launching with any streaming apps, those plus this sort of stuff would probably go a long way to helping it catch on.

Easily among the best party games released on consoles/PC in the last decade, perhaps ever.

Just for the sake of debate:

Trivia Murder Party > Quiplash 2 > Fakin' It > Tee K.O. > Guesspionage

Maybe swap TKO and Fakin' It for me. Fakin It is more strategic than really casual play sessions allows. Guesspionage will be #1 among groups that like arguing about that kind of shit.

No drawful?

It got spun off into its own game. Drawful 2 is standalone.

Just for the sake of debate:

Trivia Murder Party > Quiplash 2 > Fakin' It > Tee K.O. > Guesspionage

These glimpses into other game groups are fascinating. My group pretty unanimously votes:

Trivia Murder Party > Tee K.O. > Quiplash 2 >>>>>>>>> Fakin' It = Guesspionage

Most game nights we don't even give Guesspionage or Fakin' It a go anymore.

Chance of JB1/JB2 coming as well? I'm a big fan of Fibbage.

Honestly, they should update their system into a single App, and each game/version just DLC to that single APP. I hope hope hope they do that kind of framework from the start on the Switch versions.

This game I will definitely pick up on it!

Nintendo Switch is getting so many games!

I think the Switch has more games announced for it than what came out for the whole first year of the Wii U. Lol

agreed, jackbox really needs to be a service game

Makes a ton of sense. I've always wanted to bring Jackbox with me to parties and gatherings outside my home and its game-heavy A/V setup, but the only real option was to bring a whole console with me or buy them on PC and put the games on a laptop. This seems like a much more convenient option.

The only thing is that this doesn't seem much more convenient than, say, a potential tablet version; the big advantage over a tablet would be plugging it into another TV but since you need the dock for that, that seems less likely to happen on a regular basis.
