I think this can be great fun if people really try to play as a team.
This is so true it hurts.Nope.
You're gonna have that guy who sits in the back aimed at one spot for the entire game.
You're gonna have that guy who runs straight out into the open and dies over and over and over again.
You're gonna have that guy who spins around in circles shooting out all of the ammo into the sky while blasting dubstep through his headset.
And then there's you, in awe of how awesome people are.
This is so true it hurts.
But then of course you'll have the teams that know how to best utilize the wallhacking. So, there's that too.
Worst case scenario they follow 343's lead on multiplayer challenges and hand out the most points for the cheesiest, campiest tactics.
In some ways, it reminded me of MGS online. I don't know why, but it was a vibe I was getting.
I'm guessing because you can't clearly discern a player's team affiliation from their silhouette. And why have names over enemy heads?

Looks awesome. So ready for this. HYPE
Some developers should just realise their strengths and weaknesses.
Multiplayer is definitely not one of Naughty dogs strengths not sure why they feel pressured to include it.
Same thing with DICE SP is by far their biggest weakness yet they continue to put sp campaigns in their Battlefield games.
might be the first game ill buy for $60 in alooong longgg time

I had a great time with Uncharted 2's multiplayer. If anything I don't think enough players gave it a chance.Uncharted MP has a pretty active community. Not sure what compels you to say this, just because it doesn't click with you.
Looks really generic
That looks boring and ugly.
It doesn't look that great to me.
Aside from the few bullets you begin each round with, locating and securing supplies are the only means to craft health kits to heal you, bombs to take out targets, or to upgrade a melee weapon to be more effective. Each chest also contains parts, which become a currency of sorts to purchase more bullets or better weapons. And with how scarce bullets are, and how quickly you can empty a clip, scavenging these supplies is necessary to surviving a match. Crafting takes downtime, so teamwork becomes vital so you have someone watching your back and protecting your neck while you get to work. This is strength in numbers
To grow your clan, you'll need to win multiplayer matches, while collecting supplies and completing objectives. Every match progresses the "story" one day forward, and you'll see your population rise and fall based on your success and failure.
You can sign into Facebook and have the game auto-populate your faction with real-life friends. As your clan grows, you'll see various status updates: Bob is planting crops, Diana is learning how to play music, etc. However, during crucial moments in the twelve week story, you'll have to make key decisions--perhaps choosing if either Charles or Edna get to live, for example. It's largely cosmetic, but it's nonetheless a cute way of adding a unique personality to TLOU's multiplayer.

For people just watching the trailer and not reading into the game's multiplayer it's actually doing some really interesting things rather than just generic tdm.

I've read everything and I still remain in the opinion that it doesn't look even remotely interesting to me. I'll give it a shot, but like I said in the other thread: I don't think this game's MP will make me move away from Uncharted 3's.For people just watching the trailer and not reading into the game's multiplayer it's actually doing some really interesting things rather than just generic tdm.
gaf clan reunites.
As big-name, big-budget, big-time games are wont to do, Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us" will have multi- and single player DLC, and a Season Pass to bundle it all up for a pre-purchase discount.
According to a post on the game's official website, "The Last of Us" will get three packs of downloadable content. Two of these packs "will feature multiplayer content in the form of additional multiplayer maps and other expansions," while the third is addition to the game's narrative campaign. "The journey and cast of characters in 'The Last of Us' lends itself to thorough narrative exploration and weve got more of the story to tell," the post reads, blithely.
Died in the wool fans can also purchase the game's Season Pass for $19.99 and save $10.00 on the cost of buying all three packs individually.
Season Pass purchasers will also get a handful of so-called "Day 1 bonuses," in-game perks to make Joel and Ellie's journey through zombie-infected America a tad easier:
Increased Crafting Speed
Increased Healing Speed
9mm Reload Speed Upgrade
Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade
Wrong. They were there from the start in Uncharted 3. The only DLC co-op related thing that came afterwards was 1 co-op adventure map (The Fort), and the awful Shade Survival. Regular co-op survival and co-op adventure missions were there since day 1 in both UC2 and UC3. In Uncharted 2, the only thing that came afterwards as DLC was Siege. The game isn't even out yet, most additional modes like Uncharted 3's horde/survival mode didn't come till month's later.
Im just saying the visuals are generic. For people just watching the trailer and not reading into the game's multiplayer it's actually doing some really interesting things rather than just generic tdm.
To everyone in here bitching about there not being and infected mode in multiplayer. It's coming, Dynamic AI for a horde mode takes longer to program for than player vs. player.
There's Single player and Multiplayer DLC heading our way after launch.

I hope someday we can return to having multiplayer without perks and straight up advantages for those who pre-order or buy their copy from retailer X.Season Pass purchasers will also get a handful of so-called "Day 1 bonuses," in-game perks to make Joel and Ellie's journey through zombie-infected America a tad easier:
