The FF12, UMvC3, MvC3 and SFxT guides from Brady were also very good.
Dark Souls 2, before that it was the MGR guide, and before that it was RE6
And, hey an excuse to post my collection again.
Wasn't really a option in the early days of console gaming. It was just easier to buy a guide.Never. That's what the internet is for.
*drools*
Did you get the bayo one new? its super rare now apparently.
UMvC3
Bought Dark Souls 2 guide with the game. Also bought the DS1 guide too when I got it. Their really nice books. Heavy glossy paper and hardback. Not some crappy paperback. About the only thing I use it for is maps when I'm hunting items and crafting. I would rather play the game myself than look ahead but in this case its part of my Souls ritual now. I don't buy other guides anymore. The Internet has enough info of I get stuck.
Busted. I forgot that I bought a used copy of the TTT2 guide from a bookstore in Fayetteville, NC last year.My guide for Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Big fan of Tekken, so got it to have it. I did learn some useful things from it though.
I loved this guide, especially the map that shows all the various forms of transport/fast travel you can make use of. It was also a life saver when quest givers would supply ass backwards info on the location you need to get to.![]()
