Fantastic ending. I'm 22 so kind of grew up with Conan's Late Night (which was even harder to do in Australia haha), but years of seeing old Letterman clips and the influence he has had on all my favourite comedians has given me a huge respect for Letterman.

Conan gave him a great send off on his show, pretty much thanking him for his entire career.

Everlong is easily Foo Fighter's biggest song though. Maybe Money Wrench or Learn to Fly, but Everlong is clearly much better, whereas none of Green Day's hits stand apart as clearly.

I hate the SNL brats on late night now. Conan's the last guy from the previous century. Colbert could be good. Ferguson would have been amazing ;(

Fantastic final show that I think really reflected the type of person Dave was. I don't think anyone will ever replicate that style of goofy, corney and sometimes so clever comedy style.

Colbert will hopefully carve his own path, since Letterman cannot be replaced.

Anyway, that was a fantastic ending for a fantastic run! I'm gonna miss Dave, but I'm excited to see what Colbert'll do! I kinda liked James' intro more than I did when he started, too. He's still new, so I'm not a fan, but I definitely see potential with him.
