The least satisfying guns in first person shooters

Halo 4's Binary Rifle. Don't get me wrong, the sound design is pretty nice (zoom-in noise is fucking terrifying) and the feel of the gun is decent, but it's a one-shot kill. Anywhere on the body. No other gun in the Halo franchise has done this in the past with such a level of range, speed and precision - the Shotgun is an instakill but has low range, Rocket Launcher is an instakill but is fairly slow, and the Spartan Laser has roughly equal range but requires a significant charge time and only has up to four shots.

You just feel dirty trying to use this thing in a balanced fashion.

Obligatory Klobb mention. Damn thing looked good on paper but just wasn't very good. Give me a KF7 Soviet any day.

BL2 guns are absolutely in here, for the most part. Occasionally you get a good gun, but so often you get something that looks great on paper, but then only fires in awful bursts, or a grenade, or a bouncing ball of 'wha?'...and ends up really mediocre.

Sniper rifles that take two shots to the body to kill.
Pump-action shotguns that two shots to kill.
Semi-auto pistols with slow firerate-caps.

Playing with any of these guns becomes an exercise in frustration.

Singularity is one of my favourite FPS of the last generation but the default revolver was terrible and didn't feel like a revolver at all. I expected something like the HL2 magnum, instead I got some shitty peashooter. :/

The Assault Rifle in Halo 3. Sounds weak and isn't really fun to use.

I love the Binary Rifle. You can absolutely decimate with it.

However it does have a fairly large disadvantage that when you zoom in everyone can see where you are due to a red laser sight coming from the gun. Means you have to be fairly aggressive with it rather than sitting and camping in a corner.

The Halo 3 pistol on the other hand...

This gun was abysmal. We went from complete destruction in CE to meh in Halo 2 to awful and completely useless in Halo 3. It is weak, with a very slow rate of fire and is very inaccurate.

I got a kill with it the other day, I was extremely surprised at how bad the other player must have been. Even the best Halo player in the world can't use this gun effectively.
