As a huge Battle Royale fan, I love the concept of Extraction Shooters but have yet to find one that's enjoyable. Sounds like 2024 is when the genre really gets its shot under the spotlight.

This is a good thing. Giving Fortnite a wide berth forces developers to make more ambitious + creative projects.

Battle Royale games feel like simultaneously one of the newest and one of the most tired genres. I hear about a new BR/extraction shooter and I just can't bring myself to give a shit at all. It's so completely off my radar.
