I could take the easy way out and post an FMV game here, but instead, I'm going with Skitchin' on the Genesis.

Roller blading. The Sega Genesis. FM grunge music. Flannel shirts. Backward baseball caps. In-your-face 'tude. Dated slang that even creeps into the title. It's like a museum piece of 90s pop culture.

Post more.

I've been replaying it of late, and it's still beautiful. Lara was so rad! (Ah, I misread the OT- I figured you meant game that played/reminded of you playing games in the 90's... I'm leaving that screen though!)

When I complete my Metroid spin-off RADLEY, starring Ridley's too-cool-for-school skateboarding stepston, it will retroactively be the most '90s game ever

ITT: You will be reminded on how old you are.

I remind myself how old I am on a daily basis... so with that. more 90's:

Quirky point and click 3D adventure game for DOS/ Windows 9X. This game was digging itself deep in the mid 90's grunge/ slacker/ stoner culture.I still have the jewel case for it somewhere.

lot's of stuff by Rare, really.

Killer Instinct, DKC, Battletoads, Banjo Kazooie, Blast Corps, all screamed 90's.
i loved the 90's.

Dude, huge nostalgia flashback here. I used to play the sh*t out of the demo-level. The concept of having a p&c-adventure with doom-like graphics blew me away back then. I also loved the crude humor and overall vibe of the game. I even git the full version eventually but it somehow did not entertain me as much as the demo.

Oh man... listening to the main theme again. I feel like being 15 again.

What is this beautiful, peaceful screenshot and what is it doing in this thread?

Hey, it wasn't all crass- what better image of 90s suburban Japan is there, really? I loved that style.

Street Fighter Alpha 2, by the way.

This is what I came to post. A game licensed on a soda pop cartoon icon? That is all about how cool he is with dumb surf style music? And it's actually fun? Fuck yeah, 90s.
The music was exceptionally good.

I didn't play the GB ones, but the SNES version.
