The most annoying character ever in a video game(for me)

I can't imagine a worst character than Fi. She was literally a game breaker for me. I never finished the game because I couldn't take her hand holding any longer. I'll take Navi over her any day of the week.

The Oscar goes to Fi. Not a gamebreaker but her cheesy probability analysis and intrusive behavior made me senselessly press A to skip whatever she had to say as fast as I could every time she would pop-up on my screen.

Fuck this guy. So annoying the devs throw you a massive bone for infinity mode by making this the first dude you get to beat to a bloody pulp. I swear Inafune made him a raging shithead on purpose >.>

Phi would have been fine if she's shut her fucking mouth up from time to time.

Also, Vanille from FFXIII. She made a horrible game worse.

Almost everyone, save a select few, bugged the hell out of me in Red Dead Redemption. Guys like Irish were flat, stereotypes and then Marston himself was a walking bag of distracted meat. I actively hated so many of the characters in that game, which sucks because I adored the entirety of Red Dead Revolver's cast. Something about Rockstar's characters have always felt more malicious than other games that play on tropes.

But out of all of them, this fucker right here is the worst:

I get that he's a necrophiliac, sociopathic, murderous, gollum knock-off, and I guess that's funny or something, but those attributes don't make for a character I want to spend time engaging with for several missions. The fact that Marston didn't just outright kill this guy (or half the people he dealt with) immediately was astounding for someone willing to kill just about everyone else.

I enjoy Rockstar's games, well enough, but they need to work on writing better characters. I admit that Trevor was almost there, but much about him felt forced for the sake of shock value.

Unless you can turn Teddy off until he joins the fighting party I have no idea how he isn't in the top 3 worst of all time.

She barely holds your hand. She says something then leaves, it's not like shes solving the puzzle for you.

Only thing i recall was "Your battery is depleting"

Most annoying thing in skyward sword is when you pick up the trinkets. I do think Fi is worst side kick though

People seem to hate Jude from Tales of Xillia.

I didn't mind him, but alot of people were annoyed by him and disliked him.

I dislike his overnaive personality, but it seems to be something that most protagonist share in the "Tales Of" games . Except neither Stan, Kyle or Cress were as annoying as Lloyd, Jude, Emil or Asbel.

but you know what? I loved him because he took insane amounts of insults from me, which was easily one of the best parts in KOTOR, and still managed to not commit suicide

I am playing Final Fantasy 13 and the longer I play this the more I want someone to just uppercut this kid for being a whiny little pussy and remove his code from the game. Holy hell, I have seen some annoy characters in games, but he takes the cake for me.

Hope was one of my favorite characters in that game. He was probably the party member with the most character development from beginning to end.

He was taken from his home, told he was going to be sent to a place that people thought was basically Hell, or at least certain death, and then watched the only family member he had left fall to her death while the one guy who had a real chance to save her seemed to adopt a blase, unaffected attitude about the whole thing. Hope's only 14 years old!

I don't get why video game characters aren't ever allowed to react to incredibly traumatizing event in a semi-realistic way. All that shit happens to him in the span of a day and yet it seems like everyone who plays the game is like "Get over it ya little bastard! What a whiny little wimp!" And then by the end of the game he DOES get over it, but I bet the people that most vocally complain about him only played the first couple hours or are just parroting the opinions of other people online because ragging on XIII is popular.

Do people want the next Final Fantasy to feature a party full of emotionless Space Marines, or something?

Maybe you pushed his buttons too much because I really liked him as a character.

Yes. She should have been silent like Link.

The main character of The Last Remnant. Dumb as a stone, and obsessed with his sister. it's like all the animes conspired together to make him unlikable and annoying.

I didn't mind Hope that much. He's a kid going through some pretty awful stuff, and his voice actor I thought was pretty good (really the main compliment I have for the game is I liked most of the voice actors). I mean, most kids in JRPGs are annoying but most of them just wanna go (insert be a sky pirate, leave their ldyllic village, etc) and are obnoxious generally.

Now, Snow, on the other hand. I was rooting for Hope to give in to his desire for blood just to get rid of him.

Maybe cause i played through the game again in hero mode but she barely says anything only for parts of story. The textboxes/trinkets though =/
Does she talk less in hero mode? I didn't know that; will go that route during a second play through.

Trivia: Hope's voice actor also played the teenage Jason Todd in the Under the Red Hood Batman movie, if you want to hear him getting beaten to death.
He also plays Phineas in Phineas and Ferb, but his voice isn't recognizable.

That said, Hope was actually a good character, even if he got on your nerves. That, at the very least, is more than can be said for pretty much everyone else in XIII.

Seriously, if my mom was just brutally killed I would be bitching too. The poor guy comes from a life of luxury and ease and had everything fucked over for him in a day. Can't really blame him.
This. I guess people expect him to be like some hot blooded I'm always happy no matter what! seconds after his mom died. He doesn't even whine that much. He starts getting out of his funk like two or three chapters later and by the middle of the game he's kinda as normal as you could expect a little kid being chased by the government to be.

Morrigan from Dragon Age gets my vote. Typical athiest who does nothing but bitch and moan about religion constantly. I think we had just beaten a massive dragon and the first words out of her mouth are like, "you know what I hate about religion?" Get over it. Then on top of that she jacked me for all the high value gear I was letting her use just because I wanted to use a jimmy and not get her pregnant. Super hoodrat on top of everything else.

Wait, wait, wait... Hope VA is Jensen Ackles? Hot damn! Now i should play the game again just to hear Dean Winchester 's voice in the body of Hope!

Vincent Martella. Different voice actor played Jason Todd in the death scene, since it was a flashback.

I didn't have a problem with him. Mission though, her I could not stand. Thank God for that moment towards the end when playing Dark Side.
