The Most Cringe Worthy Moments in Shows

Everything Brent did in The Office UK, especially the Christmas episode.

In the US Office, the episode where Scott promised all these kids they would go to college. This is a bit unbelievable though since you would think there would be years of questions and assessments on behalf of the students or school.

Before I state my opinion, I just want to say that I love Breaking Bad, and it's one of the finest things to air on television...

... However, the S2 finale with
the airplane crashing
was pretty bad compared to the rest of the show

Alias and the use of doubles. Enemy agents who can alter their body, face and voice to match anyone. It was the beginning of the end for that show and its crazy sci fi slant.

In Friends when Ross says Rachel's name at the altar when he's marrying that other girl.

That's how the season ends.

God that makes me never want to watch any of those seasons again.

Great show though.

Skyler singing happy birthday to Ted, is it time for death yet? Also every single scene with her Marie

Every single scene with Tony Almeida after season 3 of 24. It was obvious he did not want to be there and even more obvious he couldn't find another role and had no choice but to return

Every single time Evangeline Lilly tries to act in Lost, the fact her character was written so badly and had the worst episodes really, really didn't help.

Just finished watching Hello Ladies, and basically there's a moment in every episode that I simply have to look away because it's so cringey.

Don Draper's had a few of those turn and squirm type moments on Mad Men.

His drunk, frantic behavior during the
Life cereal pitch
, and later his
"too much information" Hershey pitch
were pretty damn uncomfortable to watch.

What?

The hershey Pitch was so full of emotion, one of the greatest scenes on TV.

Watching Game of Thrones with your parents can have a high cringe per minute ratio.

I'd post the scene from S04E08 but there are people who haven't seen it yet I'm sure.
.
Though that Newsroom thing takes the cake. Who the hell thought that would be not just realistic, but poignant?

The "She's not Rachem" scene from Friends.

Chandler: [after doing a list of Rachel's pros and cons] All right, let's do Julie. What's wrong with her?

Ross: She's not Rachel.

And then...

Ross: [Rachel confronts Ross about the list] Okay, but look at the other side. Look at what it says about Julie.

Rachel Green: [Reads] "She's not Rachem"?

Ross: No!

Rachel Green: What the hell's a Rachem? Is that some paleontology term that I wouldn't know about because I'm just a waitress?

Just the least fucking believable dialogue ever. Rachel jumping to the conclusion that "Rachem" was some kind of paleontology term instead of a simple typo has always seemed really, really contrived to me.

EDIT: Though I seem to have missed the point of the thread. So as a quick and lazy way of salvaging my post I'll just say all of Peep Show.

What?

The hershey Pitch was so full of emotion, of the greatest scenes on TV.

I dont think he means it in a negative way. Its one of my favorite scenes on the show and Hamm knocked it out of the park but its still really uncomfortable to watch.

I think I got a good one from Gravity Falls-GAF:

I don't think anyone in the IOTI didn't cringe at the end of the scene.

For those that need context:
The little boy/main character is head over heels in love with the older redhead, but despises her goth-wannabe boyfriend (who acts like a total douche). The kid finds out that the boyfriend has been brainwashing the girl via subliminal messages. He interrupts their date to give her the evidence, to which she promptly breaks up with the jerk. Seeing that the other guy is out of his life, the boy immediately asks her out, who explodes on him for being selfish and ignorant towards her, saying he is no better.

Perhaps one of the best examples where the "hero" (rightfully so) doesn't get the girl
