Anybody remember this ? Loved this show.

FUCK YEAH.

I don't know if it's welcome freshman that I'm remembering but I remember an old show that takes place at a school, I don't know if it was a sketch show are are live action show, but a vaguely the opening having a lot of lockers closing. Wish I could remember.

Does anyone remember the name of a PBS art show, it was a drawing instructional show for kids hosted by an old man wearing a blue smock?
His drawings would scroll across the screen during the opening and closing credits with a Hall and Oates 'I Can't Go For That' sounding theme song?

I doubt it was regional but i watched it on either on San Francisco's (KQED) or San Jose's (KTEH) station, can't remember.

I don't know but me and my sisters would always watch Pappyland.

Hey Dude
Salute Your Shorts
Rocko's Modern Life
Are You Afraid of the Dark
Pete and Pete
Ren and Stimpy
Doug
Kablam!
Nick Arcade
Legends of the Hidden Temple
All That
Kenan and Kel
Clarissa Explains It All
Secret World of Alex Mack
Hey Arnold
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
My Brother and Me

Probably some stuff I forgot but between Nick and saturday morning cartoons, being a 90s kid was awesome.

I enjoyed Welcome Freshmen a ton as a kid - I still remember the old principal with a drumkit in his office. The Adventures of Pete and Pete was a favorite then, and is the only Nick show I've watched in recent years that's not only as fun to watch now, but more fun since it was so well-written.

Teen Nick has been airing various episodes of these shows over the last few days.....at 3AM (lol).

I watched: "Salute Your Shorts" (the Zeke The Plumber episode), "Hey, Dude" (the episode where Brad saves what's-his-face after he tries to ride that wild horse) and "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters" (the episode where Krum loses his stench). I'm waiting for the Secret World of Alex Mack :)

Wtf I do not remember any of these shows at all...And I grew up on robotech, thundercats, etc. I am trying to remember nick shows and all I can recall is stuff like Ren and Stim, carrissia tells all, and rugrats lol

Turn in your 90s card. Right now.

Man, was I the only one who watched Saved By The Bell?!

Some of these are before my time, but I think the most underrated/forgotten/not talked about old Nick show is KaBlam! I used to love watching this show when I was a kid.

Whoa, that top left shot looks surprisingly high quality. Is it a network capture or something?
Edit: I see the copyright. Must be.

Looooved this show, wish I'd seen the pilot episode of the Henry and June spinoff.

Kablam! had some good segments and i loved action league now.
Space Cases is underrated, really loved that show growing up.

Animorphs was a short lived show that had some good episodes and i remember a guy morphed into a eagle or hawk and got trapped forever, haha 0_o

Eurekas Castle really made my nostalgia self go crazy a few months ago, saw the intro and end credits and got a huge flash back
picnic time B^)

Here's a great article on Welcome Freshmen -

It's part of this series -

THERE'S EVEN A BOOK DEDICATED TO '90S NICK!
http://www.slimedthebook.com/

You can get it on Amazon!

And the Pete and Pete zine called Waiting For October that's out there is pretty good - the newest issue has a lot of rare photos in it.

Oh awesome! Will read this evening!!!

Man, was I the only one who watched Saved By The Bell?!

SBTB wasn't a Nick show.

Welcome Freshmen was awesome! I watched the hell out of that show. Loved the Merv-umentaries! I always think of the show whenever I hear "Donde esta la biblioteca?"

I wish they'd run a block of late 80's early 90's Nick on some station. There were way too many shows I used to watch back then to remember them. The game shows were awesome too. Finders Keepers was great.

I loved You Can't Do That On Television. It was like Python for kids, what with the different roles the adults all played. The show was happy to be anti-authoritarian and frequently used gross-out humor, and even had kids put before firing squads as a running gag (though they usually talked their way into getting the squad commander shot). Danger Mouse was also a must watch. My little brother watched Today's Special, which made my skin crawl.

Oof, this thread.

For the longest time I hated just about all live action shows on Nick. I just wanted cartoons. I eventually came around to some of them.

I love the 90s flair. All colorful.

"And Meltman! With the power to....uhhh......MELT!"

And was anyone else, while watching those shows, aware of the "Henry & June" X-rated movie? I remember coming across it a few times as a kid.

Seriously it's hard to imagine a show like this even existed in Nick back in the day. Sure it very much followed the times seeing as it came out in the early 90s and it shows. It was sort of a grunge era sketch tv show much like the former 80s era Breakfast Club movie in terms of being about the HS stereotypes.

Not totally sure if I liked the show better when it started off as a sketch comedy show or better when in the 3rd season that had one story arch throughout the show.

This is absolutely true. I loved this show, Lippman was the best principal.

Every other show everyone flooded the thread with has been mentioned.

I remember freaking out when I saw the rainbow-haired girl from Space Cases on Mr. Wizard's World - that was a tremendous example of edutainment since you learned, but did so in a way that was genuinely fun. He was like an old science teacher version of Mr. Rogers.

does anyone remember the variety/gameshow Weinerville?

Dammit I was gonna post this haha. I remember that show being really disturbing when I was a kid. Some of the characters were just the stuff nightmares are made of, like this guy

and the way the kids from the audience would be turned into those freakish big headed mutants. Such a weird fucking show.
