Hogan and some of his friends have a history of publicly shitting on people in wrestling and when they get called out on it they declare that it was a work to generate interest in a future match or rivalry. At this point in their lives its laughable because they can't do anything in ring and it makes them look like back-peddling cowards.

That tweet was in regards to an interview he did out of character where he shit all over wrestler Bobby Roode who was scheduled to win the World Title the next night and become the face of the company that they both worked for. Fans and wrestlers were angry he did that and in the face of the backlash he tweeted that. It essentially means people who believed his comments are marks(people who believe wrestling is real) and are getting worked up over nothing.
