My Black Friday Dualshock 4 arrived in the mail yesterday. The build quality is a nice step up from the original and is very noticeable.
- shoulder and touchpad buttons are more clicky and less mushy
- all glossy plastic (such as the face buttons) is gone except for the touchpad
- L3 and R3 have a nicer click to them
- touchpad has a new finish that's less of a thumb print magnet
- controller is slightly heftier
Battery life is about the same, but that's not a problem for me since i primarily use this as a PC controller where i can disable the lightbar for extra juice.
Here's the model # if anybody's interested in the new version -- CUH-ZCT2
