The Nintendo Switch is a Month Away

i just hope when you put it in sleep mode that it doesn't drain the battery as fast as the 3DS does. i want to be able to throw it in my bag and pick it up later without losing half the battery.

Nah. I mean, I still want to know more about their services and such, and I want a few more third party games that interest me before I make the jump. I don't mind the marketing, but the mixed messaging and lack of straight answers has me bothered on a few things.

I'll wait and see how it turns out I guess.

Looking at the date this morning and realized that yeah it's pretty much a "month" away. I am excited but sort of want Mario at launch. Wife is going to be "why is the credit card bill so high this month...".

I'm fucking amped. Let's go!

I'm getting the Neon Switch, with Zelda, and a Pro Controller for sure. Debating on 1-2 Switch, gonna wait for reviews on that one. I'd really like to have a local multiplayer game to play with my fiancé though.
Snipperclips my friend, Snipperclips

Yeah, I'm at maximum hype. I've pre-ordered it so I'm getting it day one, which is something I've never done before.

I'm a big fan of Nintendo games, I like indie games a lot and I spend just as much time playing games on handhelds as I do on pc / consoles, so the Switch is pretty much a dream come true for me.

I've pre-ordered:
Neon Switch
Exra Joy-cons
Pro Controller
Zelda BOTW
BOTW Amiibos
Bomberman
Mario Kart
Arms
Splatoon 2
Mario Odyssey
Puyo Puyo Tetris

Also getting Sonic Mania, Shovel Knight, Yooka-Laylee, Hollow Knight, Snipperclips, Stardew Valley, Binding of Isaac and Wonder Boy on the Switch as soon as I can.

I wish Binding of Isaac was getting a boxed copy in Europe.

For the PS4, it was 9 months from reveal to launch date with E3 right in the middle.

That's the way to go.

And yes, I'm super hyped for the Swi..... for Zelda.

Zelda is close, very close. I also like what I see in Switch, especially if it get's most of the JRPG's, I can play them at home AND while I'm away from home. That's a dream come true.

I WAS excited, but then the official distributor of Nintendo stuff priced this thing at a way too high price here in my country.

I'm in the wait and see camp, as much as I am hyped for the console itself.

So pumped. Have Friday off. I have to drive to two different stores that both open at 10AM but whatever. This time four weeks from now I will be sitting in front of my TV with a brand new Nintendo system on the stand.

Just waiting now.

I've traded almost all of my March weekend work duty for assignments in February. Finished Skyward Sword two nights ago, completing my traditional run through the Zelda series. And I'm already starting to grocery shop for my week off from work. Gonna be glorious.

I feel like I'm getting my life in order, making final arrangements before Breath of the Wild takes over.

I wanted to be but with only one game to play, not really. Holiday looks like my purchase time, though I may take another look in the summer if someone bundles in Zelda for free.

It looks like a solid system though and should be a return to form for Nintendo. The Wii U is the only Nintendo console I have skipped so I look forward to having a new one to tinker with!

I absolutely love the they held off so long. Especially waiting until after the holidays, I've been so busy since the announcement the time has flown in. Purely in terms of Zelda too, it's made it really easy to check out on any media coverage. With only 7 weeks to wait I can skip all the interviews and ride the excitement alone and go in super fresh having saw very little footage since e3 2016.

I'm definitely excited for Switch, obviously getting BoTW at launch and will either get Bomberman at launch or a few weeks after. Just need more clarification on VC, accounts ect.

Very excited. I could care less how "powerful" it is. I own a PS4Pro and a good PC, and having more power has not ever made a game better or more enjoyable. Nintendo games look amazing, even on a 3ds with its incredibly small resolution and crappy screen. The portability factor will be huge for me. Though it isn't by any stretch hard to go sit down by the TV, for some reason just being portable and playing anywhere in the house or out is just so appealing. Oh, and BOTW looks like it might easily become my favorite game ever.

Hyped for Zelda. Switch is whatever. Hopefully it ends up being great tho. I figured I might as well get one because.. hey...new stuff.

I was excited for the hardware because I am always excited for new Nintendo hardware. That "Everything We Know" Zelda thread launched the hype into orbit :P

I don't think it's so much the way they revealed it, I think it's more this time the concept is immediately obvious, unlike the Wii U. Nintendo's marketing has been really on point I feel.

im excited but don't really care about BoTW. I don't know what I want at launch, I really need some more VC info. Gotta wait ~2 months for Mario Kart

I really hope BoTW is good because I will have to get it by default and I just can't get hyped for it

Yes! Here at work my lunch breaks are an hour long so i just browse the web, now ill be able to being my sworch and get 1 hour of zelda in. I havent played a game since Ocarina of Time released.

I'm not excited anymore. Preorders went up yesterday here in Mexico and just the console itself costs $470 dollars...

Breath of the Wild is $80 dollars and even 1 2 Switch costs $70 dollars...

I have the console preordered already but I'm seriously considering cancel it and simply wait till some kind of miracle happens or I can import it easily from somewhere. Crazy how my hype went from 1000 to 0 in just a few seconds with that price, lol :'(

Hell yeah I'm excited. It's going to be my Zelda Box till Arms comes out, and I'm 100% okay with that. I just hope BOTW is as good as it looks.

What's funny is that I was only excited for the Switch.

It hasn't really hit me yet that Zelda is launching with it.

I'll buy one the second it has 3 games I really want to play. Can't see that number reaching even 2 in the upcoming months, though.

I'm excited, but I don't know when I'm gonna get it since I didn't preorder and I got my heart set on the likely harder to find neon version. Hope they restock quickly, maybe even get some more preorders up.

I can't decide if I want to buy the Red (L) & Blue (R) Joycon pack so I can color coordinate with my neon, or if I want to buy a gray pack so I could do that instead.

If Nintendo starts releasing themed Joycon sets like some of the mock-ups I'm going to be in huge trouble.

As we get closer I'm getting... less and less excited?

After Zelda there's nothing until Splatoon which is still a 'maybe' for me. I'm sure I'll get Mario Kart if I end up with the hardware but it isn't a selling point for me at all.

If the Switch had just a few more exclusives I was interested in in the first three months I'd probably feel completely different. Not even big ones, just stuff NES Remix sized. Right now I have pre-orders for a Switch and the Wii U version of Zelda, so I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm very excited. Little worried about the drought of games, but it's not like I have a ton of time anymore anyway.

Do we know if it's going to support bluetooth headphones? I saw that it has bluetooth functionality, but I'm really hoping that they support headphones.

Kinda excited. Just wish there were more games. Should have just ported some of the best Wii U games. At least Mario Maker or Smash.
