Three of the top four and seven of the top 10 defenses from last season played in the NFC.

Six of the top 10 passing defenses from last season played in the NFC.

This whole AFC >>> NFC thing is pretty stupid. A trend from two seasons ago should not apply to this coming season.

That's nice but that wasn't my point. The NFC has 2 real perennial Pro Bowl threats at QB, Hasselback and McNabb. Then you have an army of guys who are decent. Warner is one of those decent guys, and now he has a real back to go along with his 2 stud WR's. Because he is in the NFC and doesn't compete for Pro Bowl slots with guys like Manning, Brady, Green, Palmer, McNair, Rofflecopter etc etc, he has a much easier shot as getting in.

Psh, he didnt even knock him down. that doesnt count as "knocking the shit out of". It was more of a mutual thing there

hasselback = perennial probowl QB? :lol

he was considered overrated coming into last season, by alot of hawks fans who wanted seneca wallace. he had a pretty good year, but id be surprised if he had a repeat this year.

can anyone youtube or find me reggie bush's carry, can't watch the game, i mean the 44 yarder

vince young vs. reggie bush, it's the rose bowl bitches

edit: for anyone watching the game, are vy's incompletes bad or are they normal

edit: why isn't lendale white playin

No reason has been said, but its suspected its because of the fight he was in that he is not playing.

As far as vince young, the 1 throw that i saw, it was right to Ben Troupe but he just dropped it

Aside from I guess hating Seattle because they're in your division I don't see what the problem is. Who cares if someone moron Seattle fans wanted Seneca ****ing Wallace at QB :lol The guy has an 87 career passing rating and a career completion percentage of 61. His leading WR's last year were Joe Jurevicius and Bobby Engram. He also has an elite RB and this year he should have a healthy Darrell Jackson and Nate Burleson. No reason why he shouldn't put up Pro Bowl numbers again.

It was certainly a catchable ball, but it wasn't right to Troupe. He was way up on his back shoulder has he was running towards the sideline.

hasselbeck has always been mediocre and quite streaky, and he could never finish games strong. last year he was a lot better, but it was just a fluke imo.

seattle = superbowl curse in full effect, 7-9 this year

Anyone know what happend to the 7:00 game on CBS?

Should be Green Bay vs San Diego but I'm getting freaking E.T.!

What happened is that Philip Rivers said "**** you, everybody who said Brees shouldn't have been cut, I was drafted above Ben Roethlisberger!" and made the Green Bay defense look silly.

As for why the game isn't being broadcast in your area, I couldn't say.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 12, 2006) -- New Orleans quarterback Adrian McPherson went to the locker room early in the third quarter after a golf cart ridden by the Titans' mascot hit him at the end of halftime.

A Saints spokesman wasn't immediately available for an update on the quarterback, who's heading into his second season.

The mascot was riding on a golf cart and throwing items into the stands during halftime, and was heading off the field when the Saints were returning from their locker room for the third quarter.

The cart hit McPherson, who stayed on the field for a few minutes being checked out by a trainer on the sideline. He then walked off the field.

:lol :lol :lol

The area is Los Angeles wtf why isn't the game on!

edit: Well NFLHD seems to be airing part of it so all it not lost.

:lol :lol :lol

Brett Favre is doing his best David Carr impersionation out there. Another sack. I'd say odds are he retires at halftime.

Seems like the Jags still have problems scoring in the red zone, but the good news is that they're now deadly from inside their own half. Touchdown passes of 51, 55, 50, 62 yards (one from each QB and a spare from Garrard...)

Harrington after he scored that first TD looked HORRIBLE. They were the worst fumbles of his too.

Leftwich looked sharp, he should've completed more passes though, that interception was because Matt Jones couldn't catch the ball. Of course Jones made up for it with that nice catch and run for the TD. Great moves there.....

The D looked aight, not that great on the run though. Corners looked great though:)

First team offense and defense looked good for the Panthers. Delhomme played one series for the Panthers (5/6, 64 yds, 1 TD) and spread the ball around well (throws to Keyshawn and Colbert, TD throw to Carter). Foster played two series, I believe, rushing for 25 yards on 5 carries, but he was stuffed on two short-yardage attempts which is a bit worisome. Defense stuffed the Bills run-game and Ken Lucas ran a pick back for a TD. Peppers had a nice sack on Holcomb and the defense generally harassed him. After that, the backups came in and proceeded to not score again, but the Panthers still won 14-13.

Oh yeah, funniest part of the night for me was after watching Chad Owens miss a pass. "He's probably not going to make the team" I said to my buds....followed immediately by him getting a 50 yard TD completeion......

A couple of nasty drops by Williams and Wilford too, not to mention penalties pulling us back to third and long. It was like a flashback to the worst parts of last season... Hopefully the first-team offence actually starts clicking from the start of the game by the next pre-season game.

B. Farve 5/10 66 0 0
A. Rodgers 6/6 91 0 0

:lol

edit: Peyton Manning looks like a dofus in that Gatorade Rain commercial (big wtf at the wail/scream).

Marlon McCree ran a fumble back for a TD and then did the "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" finger-snapping routine :lol

It'll be called back though.
