Been to each location twice. :(

If you started from the street, you have to do 2 or 3 missions before all the logs are actually present available

Plus, make sure you look out for the Superintendent's warnings, and look for any bulk doors/ones in buildings.

EDIT: We still need two for Endure and or DeJa Vu.

Im in for deja vu... I already have endure. add me ! Beaulieu is the GT !

I was wondering what the forest environment was from, didn't notice the CryEngine 3 logo in the bottom at first. Reach would look fantastic with those kind of forest environments, I have to say.
can you take screenshots and post them here plox?

Is there a way to know which Audio logs you have and which you need? Or is it all guessing?

I'd be down for Endure but I'm not sure how much time I have, as it will probably take like 2 hours.

Oh f it, send me an invite. GT: arvinater

We didn't ask you to go outside and take a picture. I want a real screen shot.
Hot damn
I'm gonna try and gather up the audio logs later tonight and maybe start my Legendary run. If anyone needs someone to play Firefight I'll do that too.

Same thing happened to me. The problem was I was roaming the streets after starting a game on the banshee level so that I could go directly to data hive afterwards.

What worked for me is exiting out of the game and loading the campaign at a fresh "Mombasa streets." You may have to beat the first mission again to unlock the rest of the hub, can't remember explicitly, but it should let you activate all the audio logs that seemed dead when you walked up to them doing your checklist.

Janky as hell, I know. But hopefully that works for you.

I glanced through that Bungie publication hoping to get a general sense of where they planed on going with the lighting but I'm not sure what to think. I mean they point out how fucking gorgeous Cry Engine 3 is and that's entirely real-time right? But then the majority of their presentation seemed to be about prerendered lighting. It's entirely possible I'm just getting something confused but I'll be really bummed if Bungie's future projects don't rely entirely on real-time lighting like Far Cry 2 or Crysis. It's not that I think their pre-rendered stuff looks bad but putting it's visuals limitations aside, if Bungie sticks with pre-rendered there will be no chance in hell (if it ever was a possibility) that their level editor would give the user real control over the time of day and general environmental lighting.

That's probably it.
Thanks, EazyB.

That's Crytek's work. Just used in the presentation as an example of real time lighting.

Similar environments would look nice is what I'm saying.

Heh, this is a little random, but I just showed my dad the 1:30 live-action trailer.
He'd been asking what the game was like because he knew I'd been playing it at Uni, and had seen the 15 second version one they use on tv.

He sees the Brute knocking Tarkov & getting killed remarking

"Ugly looking brutes, aren't they?" (he'd have no idea about anything in Halo, especially the colloquial name of the species.)

Just a little plus for Bungie's naming. :)

Ever saw a phone ringing but couldn't download the log?
And are you sure you got them all or do you have a few you're not sure you got?

I still need the vidmaster achievements (although it appears I may be able to get Endure solo using the Chopper cheapness) and scoring on most of the maps. I'm on Firefight2 as TzeentchNET.

Endure has to be 4 players.

Although I've already gotten Endure, I sort of feel like helping some of you out. I can't play until Sunday night but if any of you still need it, I'll see what I can do.

Yeah I tried loading that powerpoint yesterday, but Microsoft's shitty PowerPoint Viewer wouldn't open. Okay I got it working now. Simply uninstalled and re-downloaded. Good stuff.

Question:
What is the best way to go back and get all the audiologs?
If I just restart the campaign will areas still be blocked off?

Have you finished all of the campaign up to, but not including Data Hive? Some of them won't unlock unless you've gone through a flashback chapter. Even after I finished the campaign and then went back to replay Mombasa Streets, I found that I had to go through campaign chapters (again) to get missing logs to unlock. Was a pain.

Also, be careful that you don't choose a flashback chapter as your last chapter that will prevent you from roaming the streets after you finish it
(I found that Oni Headquarters did this - the outer courtyard outside the building, just before the lower tunnels that take you to the destroyed bridge will lock up and the Underground Entrance will be right there in that courtyard if you chose Oni as your last mission. Was annoying as I couldn't go out and roam the rest of Mombasa looking for the log. It was surprising, since if you choose the Station as your last mission, the Underground Entrance will be a block over from the entrance. Seems like the Entrance moves depending on what last flashback mission you play.)

My advice would be to replay the campaign on easy in sequential order - the Station should be your last mission. Then don't go to the Underground Entrance but roam the streets until you find them all.

Choose mission select, then Mombassa Streets, it should be at the bottom of the list. Allows you to roam around looking for them and start almost all of the missions if you feel like it.

Ah, ok cool.
Thanks for that, I would have restarted campaign.. which I'm not really ready to do yet.
Time to run around on easy mode.

Wait a minute. Goddamn it.
How do I get past the plasma doors?
I'm starting at the bottom of that map and working my way up.
But the one on the very bottom is blocked off by the covenant barriors.
Do I have to trigger a mission or something?

That's just parts of the city you can't reach. Just think of them as boundaries. The audio logs aren't past them (nothing is).

Hmmph, either I can't read that map or it's inaccurate.
Thanks though!

You're such a nice guy, Hootie. You're also a racist, however.

I feel like I can't aim for shit in H3 after playing ODST. Just did two games online and I couldn't line up headshots for the life of me. I already miss the pistol :lol

I'm up for customs. Dunno how my connection will hold me up, guess I better pray. Haven't had customs with GAF for too long.
