I've been on a Metal Gear Solid sabbatical for the past month...does Team Snipers still pop up in Team Slayer? And is Ranked BTB on its way out? (I hope not...) And are second account whores still running rampant in Matchmaking?

Can't wait to jump back into Halo.

RBTB seems like it is going to kick the bucket. I am not sure about TS, haven't played that in awhile. And I am play MGS4 online right now.
 
The only reason I'd want snipers to have its own playlist is to lower its weighting in team slayer and especially social slayer. The only map I enjoy snipes is on standoff, every other game is just miserable.

Bungie does not listen to covergirls with flight helmets.
 
It just doesn't make sense; Head to Head which hardly anyone requested gets its own playlist while Team Snipers something that a ton of people have requested does not.

It became an instant classic playlist in Halo 2 and I'm sure it'd be in same in 3.

Point. Head to Head is kind fun and lame at the same time, I can't decide which.

I agree that the most fun sniping matches are Standoff, even Splasers on that map is awesome.

So yeah, this week, 2x2x2x2 oddball.

The problem is, you're trying to make sense out of what Bungie's doing. You're going about it the wrong way. It makes sense to create a popular demand so Bungie makes a hopper that no one wanted. It makes sense to put the BR of vehicles on the best map ever, so they don't put the chopper on Valhalla.

With this in mind, you shall be able to make more accurate expectations.

Team Snipers :-D :-D :-D. What more is there to say? Somehow I ended up in Team Splazers, but it was tolerable. On Standoff I kept spawning out in the open and getting spawn killed, but it was still a ridiculous amount of fun. Snipers works well on just about every map I played. I blame the standoff issues on my teammates being out in the open.

DLC Playlist. People keep spawning literally behind me on Blackout. I never had that happen in Halo 2, wtf.

Head to Head. OK, I loved this in Halo 2. One on one, a contest of pure skill and weapon whoring. And there's only so many places you can hide on Midship. I literally played this twice in Halo 3 and turned it off. Silly weapon only games (swords only, really?). BR duel with a sword on the map? Indicators over my head when I get the lead. So someone's coming after me with the sword and I have an indicator on my head. What could possibly be more fun...

Ranked Big Team. I'm a level 26. It takes about half an hour to find a match, and then it's usually 6 on 6. The game types are fun, but that's a pretty substantial investment of time. Do people at lower levels have this much difficulty finding a match? Can I have mine reset somehow?

Snipers was fun this weekend. Team Snipers on Standoff and Blackout makes for some great games.

Any news on the July playlist update? Shishka? I'm looking for some Team Objective love of some sort. Adding some new gametypes would be good: Oddball, KOTH and Territories. Any MLG additions? Has Blackout been picked up by MLG?

Shouldn't the Legendary Map Pack be required by now?
