If it is I would definitely be surprised, sounds more like one of Christopher Franke's B5: Into the Fire game tracks to me.

OuterWorldVoice said:Ugh. Look, there are things in matchmaking I don't like. What I know for a fact is that some of those things other people love. Shishka puts himself visibly in the line of fire for a lot of hate based on purely subjective criteria to balance the matchmaking so that it appeals to a wide range of people with utterly different tastes - and even if you don't like say, Duality with AR starts, somebody else does - and that fact ensures that there are more people playing the variations you do like.
So even when "Shishka" has picked something you don't like, it's a net benefit for the size and range of population.
Making specific jabs at his work ethic, or perceived respect for the fanbase is a slippery slope. Even if you hate everything you play - Shishka loves the fanbase, loves Halo, has a thankless, difficult job that guarantees he can't please everyone ever, and he works super hard.
Shishka sucks, Ghetto Lord British, animated gifs - these are all fair game - but going after his professional ethic without any context beyond the subjective, is not useful.
Just bullet point list the things you hate - it is easier for someone in his position to digest than: YOU ARE TERRIBLE and will have more practical effect and benefit for the things you don't like.
And let's remember that this thread is one of the best, healthiest and most maturely productive in all of NeoGaf. We can keep it that way, even as we pick on Juices.
Here's a drink and a salute to Shishka, who is an imperfect man with a ridiculous resemblance to Lord British, but a hard working and thoroughly decent, talented chap, who should be applauded and communicated to, not berated.
Don't let the bastards grind you down.

Anything with a "D" and a "9" in the abbreviation is automatically awesome.

At level 50 I'm sure most of the people you play with do so. The idiots that make up most of the Halo 3 population prefer ARs, and there's nothing anyone can do about it beyond going to each one individually, giving them some Ritalin, and hand-holding them through multiple aiming instructions. It's not like Shishka just keeps the weighting where it is because most of the veto data tells him to do the opposite.

I also ran into a few cheaters and a few pros. We also played against some semi-pros and did some work against a few of them. It was overall a pretty good MLG matchmaking night.
xxjuicesxx said:Ant, Fear, Anarchy, and Elumnite put the hurt on you guys. When are you going to be on mainstage playing at events?
KevinRo said:Never.
It's never a good sign of skill when you struggle to get a 50 in MLG when the majority of good players *cough*like me*cough* got their 50 in it when the playlist first came out... over a year and half ago... before the first season opener in New Jersey -.-;
I'll be surprised if he gets past first round. Nvm, everyone gets passed first round haha I mean second round.
LETS GO TASHI WOOHOO!!!!!
wat wat? in the butt?
xxjuicesxx said:Me n my doubles partner, IRL Friend, had 50's within like four days of H3 being out. I sold it that week, Later he quit saying H3 takes no skill. A year later its a bit harder to hit 50.
But regardless, I'd hate to see Tashi waste all this time in the MLG playlist, ignoring his HaloGAF bro's to never even set foot at an event and at least try it once.

Actually, if women live or work together in a close environment their periods will begin to synchronise over time. Fun fact for your Saturday morning!Liam92 said:Girls do not simeltaneously start there period.

But despite all the anecdotal evidence, it was not until 1971 that it was proven to be a biological phenomenon, when Professor Martha McClintock conducted the first scientific research into it. McClintock studied 135 women living together at an American college. Over one academic year the students kept ''menstrual diaries''. She found that whereas at the beginning of the year they all started their periods at different times, by the end of the year they had all synchronised to within a few days of each other.

Agree. Why, just this morning I taught several young fellows a fact they didn't know about menstruation. And your contribution to the thread is ... what?xxjuicesxx said:Yes and your posts are just oh so insightful. :lol

It's the only way to "reach these keeds!"
KevinRo said:lol Juices, are you trying to convince me that it's harder to get a 50 over a year after the playlist has been out? Because I'll tell you right now, it's not. Infact, it's much easier as most of the skilled players have progressed off the playlist and the mediocre ones sit ontop of the rankings. To further prove my point, when the playlists first come out everyone is jumbled up within the same few rankings which sets you up to potentially play some really hard games at an early level. Losing games at an early level makes it much harder to rank up, but of course you knew this
Also, playing randoms in matchmaking is nothing like playing a real team even on Gamebattles or anywhere comparatively to the level of skill on LAN. Try it out one time, play against a team of 4 instead of randoms and you will see for yourself the different intricate playing styles that will totally dong on you if you try to Rambo the shit like most people do in matchmaking. Of course I'm not one to comment on the subject matter since, lets face it, i've only had 3 points in Halo2, went a retarded 8 rounds in Amateur for MLG Chicago(which proves that different events have different skill level), got top 8 FFA an EGL D.C., and made the 5th round for Halo3 at the MLG opener. *whisthles the andy griffth theme song*
