They are, and IWHBYD is hidden in ways you cannot yet even imagine. It'll be a while, unless someone at Bungie leaks it. Good hunting, gentlemen.

It's a f@lus brand, Jageriffic 2000. One of a kind I'm afraid, they don't make-em like that anymore.

I have using HDMI (x360 elite) so yeah its the sharpest possible, on a Samsund LCD , set on 720p. But its not a tv problem, because this is the only game i have looking like this at least one of the very few. It just look so....last gen with steroid, but so last gen :(

We will always have such comment when you dont agree with the majority? You know , im actually thinking people saying halo 3 is very good looking crazy or blind. But do i laugh at them ? no, im trying to figure it out . You should keep your not-very-fun joke for you and grow up jzzzz.


Ive done like 2 hours last week on my moto to get the game, it was raining and sucked riding, i had extremly high expectation, give me the right to be dissapointed t_t

That is so asinine I don't even have words to describe...

But ok; We are crazy and blind, Halo 3 looks like crap, the majority and the universe revolves around you, fine, we got it, now can you stop repeating the same crap over and over and over again a gazillion times already?
 
At last got the game after fixing my glasses, I checked the dvd's before leaving the store and both were firmly on the shitty plastic nubs, but the box was a damaged.

Oh well, time to playlo!

So... any other hidden goodies like the Scarab gun floating around in Halo 3? Or is it all just skulls and minor easter eggs?

By the way, congrats on the game. It truly is a work of art, and I enjoyed every second of it

Yeah, sorry, I don't really believe this. It is wholly contrary to my hands on experience. I'll be avoiding Samsung LCDs in the future, I guess.

Unfortunately, I was on MP this time around, and I'm not privvy to the things the SP guys hid this time around. But I know there's some funny eggs in there at least. Heck, there were ones in Halo 2 that I didn't know about until after we shipped. :\
 
Anyone here have sexy editing skills? I have a film/moment I need editing. (A missile pod Overkill----sequence is seeing a guy halfway across the map standing on the mancannon *fire at him*, notice a warthog with 3 people *destroy them for triple kill*, then first missile hits man cannon man for the overkill.)

edit: Also since this is my first post since I got the game....I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Nice job Bungie crew. A+++

Got up, went into town, and headed straight to GAME. The guy there swapped over my broken PSU for a working one, and I picked up Limited Edition Halo 3. Had a chat to the guy there about the scratched disc issue, he said he'd had a couple of people phone up complaining of scratched discs, which didn't help my confidence in purchasing the LE, but when I got to the till I found myself blurting out "Can I get a copy of Halo 3.....the...tin box edition please". On the way home I checked my copy and to my surprise, both discs were still held in place by the little black nipple. Huzzah!

When I got there one assistant was bringing out another batch of Limited Edition boxes, and the sales assistants were joking that Cardiff had become Halo City. I'm guessing sales must have been pretty good.

Anyway, what am I doing here...time to go fire up the ole' 360 (watch it red ring within the hour....)

Mmmmm...extra value content that I'll probably never watch/read.. No 48hour live card in the box either, I thought that was guaranteed!

I'm on the second to last level now, is anyone else really HAPPY with the campaign? I'm having a great time with the story and levels, though this level seems a tad frustrating (heroic)

I also am in love with the returning tracks from Combat Evolved. I got chills like never before, which were accompanied by the biggest smiles I managed to make in ages.
 
Anyone know of a list anywhere with some skull locations? I only know the location of one skull on the
Ark
level. I'm not even sure how I'm supposed to reach that one anyway. :lol
 
I get home, ready to play after a hard day's work, crack open a drink which falls spilling all over my 360 controller which doesn't turn on anymore. I'm left with listening to the background menu music tonight and need to fork out $60 for another controller tomorrow. Bah.

Now I have a question: I beat the game really quick on normal, if I play campaign meta-scoring + legendary, do I get both achievements if I beat all the levels on legendary with campaign meta-scoring on? Or does it have to be off?
 
Finally got to play the game today and haven't finished it yet, but damn.... I love the Theater Mode! I could spend hours just watching and taking pics.

This game is so good! Thank you, Bungie! Finished it yesterday on Heroic in under just under 14 hours...I started playing yesterday at 9am and simply couldn't stop playing...there is no greater testimony to the quality of a game than that! Thank you!

No, but for 200 ms points, you can unlock the Hayabusa Halo edition, available on marketplace.

If you go back and do the first 3 missions on Heroic it will give you the Heroic achievement.

I wanted the Hayabusa permutation the second I laid eyes on it. Having all of the pieces BUT the helmet just feels like Bungie is taunting me :lol

I'm sure the location of the last skull will be found before the end of this week though. Doesn't matter how hard Bungie thinks they hid it, there's thousands of people constantly searching every nook and cranny.

You're not nuts at all. The game is jaggy.
 
So what's up with the screenshot feature? I've been playing in SD and I thought they were suppoed to be in HD on bungie.net? Well, I suppose they are indeed absurdly HD, but they are still 4:3. Which is wierd, as they show up as 16:9 in the preview but go to dl and it's 4:3.
