Wouldn't you be limiting some of Craft's effectiveness in a zone? It would have to be something different from your basic 2-3 zone.
Something worth noting that no one is talking about:
Darius Miller is going to break the UK record for games played on monday night, which will make him basically the most experienced player in the country by my estimation, which is kind of ironic given the rest of the roster's youth. He's been to an Elite 8 and 2 final fours..

1-3-1 or a matchup zone. Still give craft control over the ball handler and would put Sully still in the middle along with Amir underneath. I personally think the 1-3-1 zone is criminally underutilized.
Yuck, I absolutely hate the 1-3-1. Of course that could just be because Northwestern is the only team I've seen run it. They leave shooters open all game.

Its NW, whatever they run theyre going to leave shooters open lol. As long as you2 and 3 are solid on defense it's highly effective.
But I do sometimes enjoy going to rival forums just to see the bitter tears.
So, I don't want to come across as a sore winner. I'm not a big tOSU fan because it's hard to like awesome schools that are great in everything (I generally think of tOSU, Texas, and Florida here, but I'd put tOSU above the other two). I do really respect Sullinger, Thomas, Buford, and Smith. They're great players and I enjoyed watching them play this year. And I grew to really admire Matta this year.
But Aaron Craft really annoys me. He uses the rules of basketball offensively. Some people call that smart. Sometimes it is. But sometimes it's just dirty. I have no idea what the rule is on a play like the one in the gif below, but in my book that should be a technical. Just downright stupid, dirty, and potentially dangerous.

If you've got anything to complain about, it might have been the Withey travel, although I haven't seen it since the game.

KU vs UK. I think it's going to be a fun game to watch. Self has done an amazing job all year coaching this team and he is going to have out coach Cal in order to win this one. Because UK, I think, has the better horses in the race.

Some UofL fan, GodfatherX?, posted an article about "The Rivalry" that was written by a UofL grad. The part of the article about how UofL was roughly UK's equal in basketball was cherry picked data, with selective filtering leaving out a couple of important items. I typed out a long post but decided to delete it because in the end it didn't matter. It's not like I am going to convince some UofL fans that the data was selectively filtered. Plus the article used some rhetorical tricks that I thought were blatant and pathetic.
Then there is just numerous posts by two or three UofL fans that had the same tone as "worst fan base ever" when talking about UK fans. I didn't post much in the thread because it was all mostly rival fan bashing than actual basketball talk.
But like I said it's all over now. Now we can focus on basketball again. The players, the conferences, the arguments about who is the better team/coach/program/cheater/wtf-ever and stop bashing other fan bases.

NIT, new coach, Elite 8, Final Four, Championship game. I'd be quite happy, but I really do want to win tonight. It's so hard to get this far and I don't want to lose the opportunity now, while we are here. We are 7-3 in championship games in our history, which is damned good. I want to see it at 8-3.

I really haven't liked many Kentucky teams (and I'm not associated with the school at all), but this Kentucky team has really been amazing to watch with their athleticism, defense, and unselfishness and I'm going to be a bit sad to see it end tonight (though I can't wait to see Davis playing in the NBA).
