Seems that going by their own logic it was flight. Besides the fact that it was the intent with that whole set up and what he said right after crashing through the roof, they do normally have some effect on his surrounding when he jumps. Like the cab roof in the first ep this season.

The only time Clark has flown on the show was in the S4 premiere, but that was whitewashed by him being Kal-El. Clark Kent proper has never flown.

Location shooting has been reduced to almost none in the CW era. Really a shame. I have no idea what the budget used to be vs what it is now, but I'd estimate its been reduced by a good 40-50%, if not more. When you watch S1-S5, there are a ton of location shots in all sorts of places. Now its mostly shot on the soundstage. They've even tried to pass off the Luthor mansion set as about 20 different locales by now :lol

You can CLEARLY see him losing his "flight thrust" before he falls.
How could he be stuttering in the air if he wasn't producing some sort of lift keeping him up as opposed to just jumping which is just a big smooth arch up and then down.

It just watched it again, and aside from a lone sound effect, there is nothing to indicate such a thing occurs. Visually, he goes up, peaks, and comes back down. Just as he peaks they used a single instance sound similar to a thruster. You guys can take that to the bank if you like, but I know this show far too well to believe it. Next time the topic of flight is brought up, I can assure you they will not say Clark flew or even began to.

They would not waste our time with a flying lesson in the final season...we have seen him super jump before, he is clearly trying... He is half way there, u think he is not even close...short of outright levitation or extended horizontal sustained momentum u refuse to believe he can fly up for a moment and lose it... Im sorry we cant help u if u dont want to see it
Twice in the first season actually. Because one time Lex finds him laying in the middle of the road.:lol I hope they're just cutting back on CG and saving the moolah for the finale. I mean look at when Clark saved Lois this past episode, didn't see shit, and normally they'd show him super speeding around.
